"Ding Dong Song" is a song by Swedish pop singer Gnther, featuring The Sunshine Girls, based on a 1984 Dutch hit called "Tralala" by Phil & Company. "Ding Dong Song" was released in 2004 on Gnther's debut studio album, Pleasureman.[2][3] The song was number one for three weeks on the Swedish music charts.[4]

Britain has hotly debated whether the weekly Official Chart Show on BBC Radio should play the song -- as it does every song at the top of Britain's charts -- or skip over it out of respect for Thatcher and her family. Students take turns being either the choir or the band. Even with the younger grades who have not learned sixteenth notes yet, they can enjoy the song and playing simplified instrumental parts.

I think everyone so far has overlooked the deeply philosophical meaning of this song. It really has to do with a man who is afraid of intimacy, but craves it at the same time. When he talks about how he wants these things "deep in the night" he refers to the deep, dark nights of his soul when he wishes he could achieve a soulful bond with a woman.

The song became popular due to its catchy melody, comedic lyrics, and provocative music video. Its controversial nature also contributed to its popularity, as it became a topic of discussion and debate.

The message behind the song can be interpreted in different ways. On one hand, the song can be seen as a parody of the objectification and hypersexualization of women in pop culture.
