I use delta touch a lot when in out and about, but I don't play much zdoom stuff at all so there really isn't anything for me to say about optimizing anything; the app does exactly what it's supposed to and everything is so self-explanatory that I wonder how it's possible to need help setting this up at all. I've used an LG g3 and g5, as well as my current Samsung galaxy s8 and I have no issues.

Nice video btw, I only use Bluetooth controllers when I play more specifically Moga Pro and Moga Power Pro. Even before D/Delta Touch, I could never get the hang of touch controls and beloko's are more intuitive than anything I've used. (Namco made Ridge Racer Slipstream for Android and its touch controls weren't that great)

I also have a moga pro, but it's very cumbersome to carry around, and I didn't use it for much. Tried touch controls on a few popular Android games and most seemed lacking something, either responsiveness, or fine tuning. D touch and Delta Touch always had great responsiveness, it was harder to circle strafe but you could do it with practice. With the addition of gyro functionality it became something more, so much closer to full mouse control. Now I can respond faster than with any controller, my gyro is a bit over 1:1 so if I overshoot with the stick I can adjust back, it's so intuitive. I have 20 years of Doom to catch up on and no PC to do so, I commend Beloko for giving someone like me a way to do so, all from my smartphone.

It's not my primary way to play doom, but I occasionally use delta on my nexus 10 tablet with a ps4 controller through the sixaxis app and its great. The tablet is old as heck now, so it does stutter a bit on some of the big maps. Also one thing I've discovered to come in handy is that if I hook it up to a monitor or something, the nexus 10 has an absurdly high resolution for the hardware and trying to run at full res on the tablet, plus mirroring that onto a monitor will kill the framerate. Using an app like SecondScreen to reduce the resolution android uses seems to help alleviate that problem. Maybe that will be applicable to other setups as well, I dunno how good modern tablet/phone hardware is nowadays.

hey, like even when you're not on your computer, you can play doom on your phone like delta touch my guy, i had delta touch for three months and its smooth depending on what types of wads you play, or it could be your phone, but fps is also depending on the phone ram, it would sometimes lag out.

One thing i quite like about delta touch is that you can set different sensitivities for horizontal and vertical looking (which you can do in gzdoom but i never saw the point on pc). Really makes the touch aiming feel a lot better to not have to worry as much about up and down, and just lower that sensitivity

Delta Touch, formerly known as D-Touch and Doom Touch, is an application for Android OS by Beloko/Open Touch Gaming. It combines GZDoom, LZDoom, Zandronum, Chocolate Doom, Crispy Doom, Doom Retro and PrBoom+ for Doom and Doom 2 as well as Dhewm3 for Doom 3 in one streamlined app. Delta Touch offers a highly customizable and intuitive touch screen interface and supports most, if not all, Bluetooth-enabled wireless controllers, along with mouse and keyboard functionality (Oreo 8.0+). It also includes downloads for Freedoom Phases I and II on its game selection menu, to allow its users to have a game to play without needing to supply their own WADs.

Hello folks, with the recent update introducing Zandronum 3.0 to @beloko's Delta Touch app, the prospects of doom multiplayer have been brought to mobile/android devices. This means that we can now enjoy coop, deathmatches, duels, survival, etc with friends and total strangers anywhere now. However, as there is such a disparity between mouse+kb controls and touchscreen controls or even controllers, we can't expect to enter a game and be much other than a hindrance at worst and a target dummy at best to mouse+kb players. I doubt most people will find that to be useful or particularly fun, but on the other hand I would bet that many people would have fun with it if playing with/against other players who are also using touch screen controls. Additionally, for coop/survival sessions it may be best to attempt wads on lower difficulty settings, which would require making new servers with settings you won't otherwise see, so this also applies to players looking to get in on some coop/survival action as well.

Nice post too, good way to get Delta Touch/MP/word out there about getting people together. The vids are a very nice touch as well, it helps to have a sense of direction, sometimes people can get overwhelmed too easy with a anything unfamiliar and easily give up.

I'll definitely be down for a go in the future, I use a Moga Pro controller when I play, despite how intuitive and fluid touchscreen controls are, I can never get the hang of it and am so used to using a controller to play.

Hey there, in GZDOOM, does anyone know what are the "key" names for the touch controls? I.E. the gzdoom console name for the A button in an xbox controller is "PAD_A", i'm trying to figure what are the names the engine recognizes for the touch inputs, so i can configure some shitty mod i'm trying to run, it requires me to manually bind the required key, but i've already tried with the defaults shown in the gzdoom controls menu, and none work (trying to "doublebind" an action to the "use" key, gzdoom menu shows use is bind to space, joy4, but when i bind my custom action to these keys it doesn't work)

My mod is being recognized by the game though, as i can fire the action manually with the console, but for some reason it doesn't work when i bind it, what i think is the touch inputs must have a different "id" (the name recognized by the console)

You should use the 'custom' touch or gamepad inputs, these map to standard keyboard key inputs which can then be bound in-game, or using the console to any actions you want. Let me know if you need any more info

EDIT: Ok I seem to have fixed the problem. I had a suspicion some scoped storage shenanigans were going on and oddly enough moving the .IWAD and .IPK3 from '\OpenTouch\Delta' to 'Android\data\com.opentouchgaming.deltatouch\files' now makes the mod run perfectly. I don't have this issue with any other IWADs so sort of confused why it matters in this case.

Touch it on. Touch it off. Whether you have two full hands or 10 messy fingers, Delta Touch2O Technology helps keep your faucet clean, even when your hands aren?t. A simple touch anywhere on the spout or handle with your wrist or forearm activates the flow of water at the temperature where your handle is set. The Delta TempSense LED light changes color to alert you to the water?s temperature and eliminate any possible surprises or discomfort. Delta MagnaTite Docking uses a powerful integrated magnet to pull your faucet spray wand precisely into place and hold it there so it stays docked when not in use. Delta faucets with DIAMOND Seal Technology perform like new for life with a patented design which reduces leak points, is less hassle to install and lasts twice as long as the industry standard*. Kitchen faucets with Touch-Clean Spray Holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger. You can install with confidence, knowing that Delta faucets are backed by our Lifetime Limited Warranty. Electronic parts are backed by our 5-year electronic parts warranty. *Industry standard is based on ASME A112.18.1 of 500,000 cycles.

Thank you very much for testing and posting this update. I was able to get this far due the intuitive structure of libdeltachat and its excellent documentation. Working with this library is fun and very smooth.

The absolute position of the touch is recorded periodically and available in the position property. The deltaPosition value is a Vector2 in pixel coordinates that represents the difference between the touch position recorded on the most recent update and that recorded on the previous update. The deltaTime value gives the time that elapsed between the previous and current updates; you can calculate the touch's speed of motion by dividing deltaPosition.magnitude by deltaTime.

I have had my delta touch for 4+ years and I love it. However, now I have a leak and it seems to be coming from the handle and water is constantly pooled at the base of the faucet. My husband popped out the little cover and tried unscrew it with an Allen wrench and he could not get it to budge. Any advice/tips?

Thanks in advance.

Kim

Hi Kit. My faucet was already installed in my house when we bought it. The light was always blue when we touched the faucet, and now it is red. Is that a sign that the batteries need replacing. Thanks. e24fc04721
