Deepin Screenshot is a screen capturing tool that comes with the deepin operating system and is developed by Wuhan Deepin Technology Co., Ltd. It can be useful to share images of your desktop environment, whether you are having fun or working. Apparently, without no reason, I've become unable to take screenshots using any of the system shortcuts (Ctrl + Alt + A, Print Scr, Ctrl + Print Scr, ...). Using the screenshot application directly does work, though.

I double checked the default shortcuts and they are mapped correctly. Actually, when I use any of them, the screenshot service is triggered. This is what I found in syslog whenever I trigger one of its keyboard shortcuts:

Getting back to the screenshot issue, would you recommend some workaround? In the end, it seems to be some kind of permissions issue and was working fine till one day before I post this question here.

@programatic after installing deepin-screenshot from the official arch repo and installing the last version of the deepin-screenshot-copy-patch from the AUR, I still can't copy the screenshot in the clipboard. Any idea?

Added "x-kde-force-image-copy" mime type to screenshots being copied to clipboard, which forces klipper clipboard manager to remember this clipboard entry even if user has set "ignore images" option to true in klipper.

I looked which notification servers were installed on my system and found that deepin-notifications was responsible, which apparently entered my system as a dependency of deepin-screenshot. I removed everything from deepin which solved the problem.
