So i installed epic game engine and was using it fine for a day or two, but today when i switch on my pc, i noticed my desktop shortcut is a blank, and when i click it, it tells me it cant find original Epicgamelauncher.exe.(the UE4 folder is still there but it see only the Epicgamelauncher.exe is deleted for some reason). is there anyway where i can repair the UE4 or fix it without downloading and installing the whole thing again?

The issue was caused by having Opera open in the Background. The "launcher.exe" that has crashed is launcher of Opera. For some reason having Opera open in the Background while this specific Test is running, there are some interferences. Just closing didn't really help me, so I just renamed the "launcher.exe" to something else. There might be some issues with Opera in the future for me, but as long as my test is running, I am happy.

Hmm, havent seen this 'launcher.exe has stopped working' error before. Disconnecting upon entering the forge is a known issue though ( -known-issues/). Please let us know if you still have this problem once that is fixed.

I just bought this game after watching more than a few videos on Youtube. I downloaded the launcher installer and ran it - several times, as a matter of fact, and the one common theme is that every time I go to run the game, whether from the installation window at the end that asks if I want to run Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts or from either the desktop or start menu shortcuts, the game refuses to launch. Both shortcuts tell me that launcher.exe has been moved and would I like to delete the shortcut? I've dug through the folder in AppData, and there is absolutely no file named launcher.exe to be found. The only exe files to be found are named as follows: 7za, QtWebEngineProcess, sendrpt, uninst, UpdProgram, and vc_redist.x64. I've tried reinstalling the launcher program after deleting the original folders and files. This does not fix the issue, and in fact the only thing it does is deletes the downloaded installer - which to me is a major concern as installing a program should not delete the original installer.

Hi guys. Simple question. Is there any way to start the game without having to go through launcher.exe? I've tried just openning ksp.exe, but although it looks like its starting, and I get all the witty stuff, the progess bar never starts,, and I could leave things and go on a 2 week holiday to Blackpool (or the Maldives if I won the lottery), and the game wouldn't start.

I never even knew I had a launcher.exe... I always start mine with Steam OR double-clicking KSP.exe (for the folders with my old installs). Both work identically - with the only benefit of a Steam startup is auto-halting of any background updates/patches for other games.

Hi there any help would be amazing as I have had this trouble for a very long time I have tried everything, new hard drive, another computer, reinstalling the game but the issue is not getting resolved whenever I launch the launcher.exe file from either the game directory or steam itself i get this pop up:

I installed the VMware vServer Appliance and am starting to use the vSphere Client. This is managing VMware 6.7 U2. I had to initially install the vmware-cip-launcher.exe. Each time I go to the VMware vSphere sign-on page I get the notorious "Open VMware-cip-launcher.exe" pop-up. I have fixed this issue in FireFox and Internet Explorer. However, Chrome is not allowing it to work transparently. I have to give it permission each time I start the HTML5 page to run. I have searched all over the internet and within the VMware discussion groups. There are miscellaneous threads that address earlier versions of Chrome.

Use task manager (Press CTRL-SHIFT-ESC or press the Windows key and X then choose Task Manager) to find swtor.exe or launcher.exe. If you see them in the list, select each one, then click End Task. Now, try the launcher again. ff782bc1db
