I tried dragging it into the correct folder but it still installed in C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\FontsI found the a solution is to right click on the font and click install for all users. That was only way that it installed it in the right folder.

You'll have to ask your service provider to delete the copy/pasted or drag/dropped file from the Windows\Fonts folder and then do a proper install of the font, it will register it without restarting the system.

The last couple days I noticed especially white fonts and borders e.g. in Pimax VR center seem a bit noisy. In case I disable AA in a certain game, white borders also seem a tiny bit moving around, little little ants. Do I need to enable any smoothing option or any other to have it 100% static or not possible at all?

While I store names in these tables, using my frontend (C#), I have set the corresponding font type for the textbox to type the name in that language. (For Hindi, I have set the textbox font as 'Devnagri' which I have installed on my system and so will display in textbox property explorer. For English, font-type is Arial). This data is being stored in corresponding table.

Eg: For table1, in Crystal reports I want to set 'Devnagri' as first column's font, second column's font as 'Arial' and, if dataset is filled with data from table2, I want to set font property of report's first column to 'Arial' and second column to 'Devnagri'

Excuse me if this is a stupid question, but I was wondering if it's possible (and hopefully relatively simple) to modify the default font in the Liquid Crystal library.(I assume the default chars are stored there)

I know you can create custom characters, but then i'd have to call each letter specifically.

It'd be better if I could create a new or modify the exisiting font of the LCD library.

I've seen several big fonts but these are still custom chars and they're not integrated in the LCD library.

As far as I know, you can only create 8 custom chars..

Can i manipulate the lcd somehow to show another 'font'?

You might consider the UTFT library.. Different display but capable of 30 X 40 lines of text... Using any of 10 -12 font's supplied by the UTFT package and a number of 'other' characters and sizes..

There is a great deal of freedom available, Alas it requires more flash memory relegating it to a Mega1284 or 2560.

With a Mega 1284 or 2560 I've been able to create some nice displays..

I have a web application written in Visual Studio.Net 2012 (C#/ASP.Net). The application pulls a small set of data from an Oracle table, and then uses Crystal Reports to throw that data onto a report page that is displayed by Adobe Acrobat within the browser. The Users then print out the individual Adobe Acrobat page as a 'coupon', and physically scans it into our document scanning system. This document scanning system DEMANDS a particular font, and here's the issue...Currently, the app is running in our production environment, and our User Acceptance Testing (UATest) environment. The Adobe Acrobat page is displaying a different font set for each web environment. On UATest, everything is displaying as it should. The font is OCR A Extended. It's a monospaced font that resembles the old Courier style. On our production system, it's displaying what looks like Arial? Microsoft Sans Serif? I have no idea, but whatever it is, our scanning system doesn't like it and won't accept it.

The original Ronsard Crystal began its life as a single-weight VGC photo display font in the 1950s.We liked it so much, that we decided to design four traditional weights to go with the original inline version.

It began as a simple pair of shapes (trapezoids) with alternating fades. Very quickly it was apparent that the outline was too prominent, so I reduced it to 0.05px to make it unobtrusive. Completely eliminating the outline would make it fade out against a white background and be less crystal-like.

The font is built using Inkscape. The file is 433.4 KB, not too big, but the combined file is slow for editing any given character. The "method" I eventually worked out was to fit each letter "into" the Zero character. This example image shows the replacement digit 4 because early critique pointed out that the first version was a completely different design.

It turned out to be impractical for all characters to fit the outline of the zero. Note the extra width of the @ symbol and the W as examples of wider characters, the letter I is more narrow, and several of the punctuation marks are appropriately smaller. This is NOT a font for use with your keyboard. Shaded fonts are not suited for that kind of thing. This is more of a clipart kind of thing.
