I'm a mod in one of my friends channel and somewhat often we get people making clips of his streams with offensive titles and making fun of him and his friends. However, because he's busy playing, he doesn't notice them until the end of the stream. By then, those clips have already been spread out and the damage is already done.

He wanted to give me the ability to delete clips from his channel, so I could control that while he's playing, but later we found I can't manage his clips. I was wondering if Twitch has a special permission he can give me to manage his channel's clips on my own or if he is the only one that can delete them.

If users exit the clip editor without selecting "Publish", a clip with the stream title is still saved. These clips create clutter and detract from browsing all channel clips. Ideally these unintended clips should not be saved/posted.

I had no idea pressing clip caused this to happen. I was using the clip system to rewind slightly when I missed something and thought it wouldn't publish unless I clicked the publish button. But a small streamer mentioned the clips I made to me and now I feel really bad about accidentally spamming a bunch of clips. Please change this!

this so much. i actually avoid clipping because i know that when i adjust the clip timestamps in the tool it will flood the channel with random clips that will only annoy the poor viewer that happens to click it.

+1 for this, would love a button to just delete all the unnamed accidental clips cluttering up the channel rather than manually scour the list for them after every stream or just for them to not be automatically saved in the first place

When a user clicks the Clip button, it automatically publishes the clip. After clipping something, there is a button labelled "Publish", which implies that the clip will NOT be published until that button is clicked; this assumption is painfully inaccurate. This has led to the embarrassment of numerous clips of pointless segments being accidentally published without warning.

If something exciting, funny, or just plain silly happens on Twitch, you don't have to let it fade away. Twitch clips are short highlights which anyone can make and share with others to preserve those one-of-a-kind moments you only get from a live stream.

You should also consider sharing your Twitch clips where you think people will like it, even if they haven't seen the streamer before. Each Twitch clip has a clickable link for the streamer's channel, so it can be a great way to introduce people to a stream and build viewership.

Once you've built up an impressive library of clips, you may want to revisit some memories you've created. To do this, head over to the Twitch Clips Manager to see all of your clips, grab links for sharing, or delete ones you no longer want.

Yes. To delete Twitch clips, go to twitch.tv > click your profile picture in the top-right > Creator Dashboard > Content > Clips. Click on the clip you want to delete, then click the trash can icon.

Start watching the streamer you want to clip on twitch.tv from your desktop browser. When you are ready to clip, move your cursor over the playback area and click the Clip (alt+x) button in the media controls along the bottom.

You may be trying to download clips from your favorite Twitch streamers or attempting to create memorable memes with Twitch TV. However, Twitch doesn't offer a built-in way to download another channel's clips (and highlights). But a handy workaround involves using a Twitch clip downloader like Clipr, which can freely grab these clips as downloads to your computer. We included the steps below to help you get started. That way, you can permanently enjoy a selection of funny and epic clips on your favorite Chromebook.

If you're attempting to download your own Twitch clips, you must create a clip from an existing broadcast and then download these clips on the Creator Dashboard or the creation clips page. Below, we demonstrate the steps to download and access your personal clips on Twitch.

You may have an existing list of created clips, so navigating and downloading while in the Creator Dashboard will pull up your channel's published clips. Here are the steps to secure these as downloads:

Despite the game warning you that there's optional nudity in the game at the start, the top BG3 Twitch clips page is full of streamers surprised to see how quickly it can happen. In the character creation menus, there's a toggle to "hide clothes". Clicking it doesn't just undress your character down to their underwear, it removes absolutely everything for all to see.

Sex scenes are also a part of BG3, but it'll probably take some time before those start populating the Twitch clips page. For now, scrolling through the top clips in the last 24 hours gives you a comprehensive look at every streamer's face as curiosity takes over and they click the forbidden button.

Expect more surprises now that Baldur's Gate 3 is finally out (and is really good). The massive RPG is sitting near the top of Twitch's stream categories with over 300,000 viewers. And the clips of streamers taking the game's first risky click keep rolling in.

If you want to manage your Twitch clips, you can use the Clips Manager on the Twitch website to do it. You can share a clip, download a clip file to your PC or Mac, rename it, or delete it from the Clips Manager. ff782bc1db
