Class is an Indian Hindi-language crime drama thriller television series adapted by Ashim Ahluwalia and based on the Spanish series Elite. It is set in Hampton International, a fictional elite high school in Delhi, and revolves around the relationships between three working-class students enrolled at the school and their wealthy classmates. The series was produced by Bodhi Tree Multimedia and Future East Film.[1][2][3][4]

Joel Keller for Decider stated "Class takes the Elite formula and layers on commentary about a class system unique to India, shifting the tone of the series just enough to make it distinctive from the original version."[13]

Debiparna Chakraborty of MovieWeb wrote "Despite having certain flaws, Class holds up on its own, and deftly interweaves a murder mystery with high school drama layered with caste, class, and religious clashes. The show's handling of themes like casteism, discrimination, and identity politics is sensitive and impactful, adding depth and complexity to its storylines. In fact, Class holds up on its own, perhaps even better than Elite, because of its robust politics and gritty stylistic choices that emphasize the suffocating reality it attempts to depict."[22]

So what about Netflix? At first glance it seems like it would be OK, but a teacher wanting to show a Netflix movie would have to log into Netflix using a personal account. The user agreement the individual agreed to when he or she created the Netflix account prohibits showing movies in a public venue, which may be a contract violation. (However, Netflix does permit the showing of some documentaries in class.)

My go-to resource for all things digital citizenship is Common Sense Media and their K-12 Digital Citizenship curriculum. You can read more about Common Sense Media below. Another good resource for Copyright ideas for the classroom is Media Education Lab. In their Copyright section, you can gain access to visuals and lesson plans for secondary students.

Copyright and Fair Use Guidelines for Teachers

Opening Shot: A teenage girl lies dead, a pool of blood around her head. A teenage boy is questioned by police.

The Gist: Dheeraj (Piyush Khati) starts telling the story about how he is in this place, with the dead girl just outside the door. His school in the lower-class neighborhood of Nurpur Khatola in Delhi burned to the ground, and people blamed Ahuja Builders, who managed the building. They responded by paying scholarships for the remaining students to go to other schools around the city.

Any third-party agreements, such as Netflix's, supersede US copyright law exemptions, such as those for classroom or teaching activities cited above. Therefore, we generally do not endorse use of Netflix in classes due to the potential for copyright violations.

Netflix is unique in that they do allow "one-time" educational screenings (which includes once per semester for educators) of many "Netflix Original" documentaries - a collection of over 100 titles! See the links below for Netflix educational policies and to find and use the documentaries that are available for use in the classroom. The current releases are shown but you can use the search box to find older documentaries.

Unlike Mumbai, where it is impossible to ignore poverty, it is entirely conceivable for the richest folks in Delhi to continue to live in their ivory towers, without ever really encountering those outside of their socio-economic class.

Kercher-Updike said she sent emails to the 91 professors who had classes in those four classrooms this semester, explaining what services would be blocked and asking whether that would affect their courses in any way. She also told them that their lecterns in those lecture halls would have access to the blocked services, in case Hulu or Netflix or any of the others including teaching material.

Ed Bartlett, an associate professor of biomedical engineering, lectured Tuesday morning in Biology of the Living Cell, a 200-level course taught in Class of 1950. He said he supplies students with slides from his lectures ahead of the class period, so he said he expects to see laptops open. He said he wondered how much a difference the project would make in student outcomes at the end of the semester.

A Windstar representative told us that the new tv's on the yacht class ships now have netflix and hulu. Does anyone know this to be true? If so, do we just sign into our account for Netflix and Hulu on the tv?

The story revolves around three working-class friends who are offered scholarships to an elite private school in New Delhi. Bodhitree Multimedia Limited, in association with Future East, produces the series and is helmed by Ashim Ahluwalia.

She cooks for fellow nuns and monks while also running a weekly cooking class for temple stay visitors. Her food is strictly vegan and also follows the Buddhist rule of not including onion or garlic in any dishes. She makes all of her own sauces, syrups and pickles.

The next dish in the cooking class with Jeong Kawn was japchae noodles. These noodles are popular all over South Korea. They are literally found on every street corner in Seoul in various forms. Some are made with vegetables and others with meat. But they are all made with sweet potato noodles gently stir-fried. It seems every time I was served this around the country, they were served lukewarm or even cold as part of banchan.

The first 45 minutes or so of the class was an informal chat with everyone. We all stood up and introduced ourselves, and explained where we were from and what we did for a job. Many people expressed their immense gratitude for being able to attend the class. I was star shocked and probably just made a bit of a goose of myself. But it was a lovely touch.

In Class, Land is in her mid-30s at the University of Montana, desperately trying to fulfill her dream of becoming a writer, while juggling classes, working to pay for childcare and rent, and experiencing the loneliness of being a single mother.

The OkHttpClient and ApacheHttpClient feign clients can be used by setting feign.okhttp.enabled or feign.httpclient.enabled to true, respectively, and having them on the classpath. You can customize the HTTP client used by providing a bean of either ClosableHttpClient when using Apache or OkHttpClient whe using OK HTTP.

If Hystrix is on the classpath and feign.hystrix.enabled=true, Feign will wrap all methods with a circuit breaker. Returning a com.netflix.hystrix.HystrixCommand is also available. This lets you use reactive patterns (with a call to .toObservable() or .observe() or asynchronous use (with a call to .queue()).

Prior to the Spring Cloud Dalston release, if Hystrix was on the classpath Feign would have wrappedall methods in a circuit breaker by default. This default behavior was changed in Spring Cloud Dalston infavor for an opt-in approach.

Hystrix supports the notion of a fallback: a default code path that is executed when they circuit is open or there is an error. To enable fallbacks for a given @FeignClient set the fallback attribute to the class name that implements the fallback. You also need to declare your implementation as a Spring bean.

There is a limitation with the implementation of fallbacks in Feign and how Hystrix fallbacks work. Fallbacks are currently not supported for methods that return com.netflix.hystrix.HystrixCommand and rx.Observable.

A logger is created for each Feign client created. By default the name of the logger is the full class name of the interface used to create the Feign client. Feign logging only responds to the DEBUG level.
