I have been using emulators in the past to play clash, and even streamed emulator clash gameplay on Twitch for over a year. I used emulators to stream as I don't own an iPad and playing clash on PC allowed me to multi-task better. You could have multiple instances open and switch between accounts without having to log in and out every 2 minutes.

Being able to play clash on multiple accounts at the same time. This is by far the biggest pro. You don't need multiple devices on PC, you just launch the game twice and login to different accounts at the same time. Another small pro is being able to copy and paste player codes and clan codes to quickly search players/clans. This is helpful for streamers, as you can just copy it from chat on your second monitor in seconds.

As you can see, the pros list isn't very big. That's because clash is a mobile game. You won't see a meta change after the PC release because it simply isn't ready. After playing the official PC version last night, here are some notes worth mentioning.

There are no hotkeys. This is a bummer, but I am hopeful that this comes in a future update (this is just the beta after all). Hotkeys could be huge for PC clash. Don't want to use your scroll wheel? Bind it to arrow keys for precise zooming. But the main reason I think PC clash needs hotkeys is to fix one of the problems mentioned above. Imagine you could bind 'qwerty' to select different troops. You would have to know which troops show up in your bar first, but this is more manageable for PC gamers. This is the one thing that will make or break PC clash for me.

As far as I know, there's no way to launch multiple instances of the official PC clash. This is a big bummer, as it takes away one of the largest pros to PC clash seen on emulators. I am going to dive into this deeper tonight, and hopefully find a way to launch the game twice.

Hopefully that helps some people understand PC clash a little better, and maybe some of you will try it out! It is a lot of fun, and I am looking forward to streaming an officially supported version of the game.

The game is set in a fantasy-themed[3] persistent world[4] where the player is a chief of a village. Clash of Clans tasks players to build their own village using the resources gained from attacking other players' villages with troops, earning rewards, buying them with medals or by producing them at their own village. Players can conjoin to create clans - groups of up to fifty people - who can then participate in Clan Wars together, donate and receive troops, and chat with each other.
