We drove the circle loop when we were in Vegas a couple of years ago. It was SO beautiful! They had signs posted all over saying that you needed to carry lots of water, because the air there is so dry, and you might get dehydrated before you know it. Thanks for sharing these memories!

I'm sharing this loop that I use to level my horses. Let me remind you that the difference is very little, it's almost the same as any regular loop that most use. The only advantage using a circle loop is that your horse will not stop or slow down because it doesn't need to turn around to go the other way. the "not" stopping/slowing down will only save you about 2 to 3 seconds of running time. This is best if you use a Wagon, because Wagons can take time to turn-around sometimes.

The radii and x-coordinates of the circles are generated in a previous function. I only want them to lie on a line, so there are no y-coords. In the end I'll end up with a horizontal row of circles of varying sizes.

The second to last line is what's confusing me, I'm struggling to write a command that takes the circle size and coords, and adds plt objects 'N' times. I think I might need two loops to run through circle_list but I'm not sure.

I have the issue where enabling Circle on my Orbi System fails, stuck in an endless loop where the iOS app simply tells me the router is compatible. I have seen no answers on this forum or in the knowledge base. How can I get this resolved?

Our guests had proven themselves surefooted and comfortable on the rock so far so Ken decided to take them down the north leg of the loop trail, which while steep in places, they descended it with ease and without incident.

So, I'm following this tutorial on YT, and got stuck when trying to add loop cuts inside a circle. What I've done is adding a circle, in Edit mode extruded it inward and merged at centre. Then I need to add circle loop cuts inside this big circle, but the loop cut tool only creates dots.I've tried the inset tool, but it didn't do anything, switching to face mode also didn't help. Also tried to subdivide the mesh, no result.

CtrlR loop-cut and slide navigates its way through a mesh by following quad face-rings.(You can think of it as walking between railway-tracks, and cutting through the sleepers). As it stands, your circle is a fan of triangles. No quads, nowhere to go.

We bagan our southward leg of the loop here. This was our shortest day of backpacking, but it was hot and all uphill, so we were glad for an early finish. Plus, I was using old USGS topo maps, which indicated that the campsite was about a mile down the Flattop Mountain Trail. Turns out that the info was outdated. After about a mile through hot, burned-out, depressing hillside, we turned back to the junction and found the campsite on just the other side from the junction. Good lesson when using old topos.

I was under the impression that the "circle" tool in Loop Tools would work the same as Circle / Regularize in other software, but I can't figure out what it's actually trying to do here. The results are always a random mess.

Can someone please explain what I'm going wrong here? or if this is a bug? (using 2021.3)

The Ice Age National Scenic Trail travels through the Chippewa Moraine, connecting to the interpretive center and loop trails and the three primitive, outpost campsites. The entire trail is over 1,000 miles long and follows the edge of the last continental glacier in Wisconsin.

Trip Overview: The North Circle backpacking loop traverses ~52 miles within the impressive Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park. Along the route you pass through the Ptarmigan Tunnel, hike over Stoney Indian Pass and Swiftcurrent Pass, and hike along 11 miles of the famous Highline Trail, which follows the Continental Divide and provides some of the best views in Glacier National Park. The North Circle Loop has a peak elevation of 7,400 feet and you climb roughly 12,000 vertical feet over the course of the 52 mile trek. Highlights of this itinerary include massive mountains, active glaciers, wildflower blooms, alpine lakes, waterfalls, and abundant wildlife. The majority of the images in this report are from a trip in August of 2012 (captured by John Strother).

Difficulty: The North Circle Loop Glacier National Park is a tough overall loop with a significant amount of elevation gain. We recommend hiking the loop over 6 days as described in this itinerary. Doing so helps avoid having very long hikes over 10 miles with >4,000 feet of elevation gain. If you plan to hike this loop is 4 or 5 days, be prepared for some big climbs. The simplest way to complete the trek in 5 days is to combine days 3 and 4 of this itinerary and skip camping at Stoney Indian Lake. Since you must camp in designated sites, you will need to be flexible with your itinerary.

Supplies: In Glacier National Park, you must be prepared for a variety of conditions depending on the time of year. Up until late July, snow often remains in the high country and on mountain passes. If you are hiking this loop in June or July (before the snow fully melts) or in late September (when snow can begin to fall again), you will want to consider bringing microspikes/crampons and an ice ax. However, if the trail is clear of snow, then these are not needed.

On the first day you will begin the 52 mile trek around the North Circle route. The hike starts near Many Glacier Ranger Station. If you did not pick up your wilderness permit the day before, you will need to pick one up the morning of your hike. Nearby the ranger station is the Iceberg-Ptarmigan Trailhead. The North Circle loop starts there and you begin heading north up the Ptarmigan Trail towards the Ptarmigan Tunnel. It is a roughly 5.5 mile uphill hike to the tunnel and then is another ~5 miles downhill to Elizabeth Lake. Overall this hike is quite tough, but it has some great views along the way!

The last hike of the North Circle Loop in Glacier National Park takes you up and over Swiftcurrent Pass and then descend back to the Many Glacier area where you started the loop. This hike is very beautiful with expansive views and several lakes. Along the route you also have the option to summit Swiftcurrent Mountain, which tops out at 8,436 feet. Doing this side trip adds 2.75 miles and 1,300 feet of elevation to the hike.

Hi!

I just completed the Glacier north circle loop like your trip report. I was wondering if I could get a copy of the GPS trails you used for making your maps. We did the trip in the opposite direction and would like to get the correct elevation maps based on the trails.

Thanks!

Hey, my brother and I were planning on hiking this loop in late July. Should we be worried about the stream crossings, and snow on the steep trails. We are really eager to go, but we still want reassurance that the trail is safe.

How cold is it in this loop compared to something like the Rae lakes loop? I did all of Rae in bedrock sandals just fine in august, is the temperature comparable in the north circle loop in august? Thanks!

The problem started when I wanted to make a phone call but it froze. Tried to close the "phone" apps by double clicking home button but it still frozen. So, I did hard reset by pressing power button + home button, but still no response. After few minutes, it just change into black screen folllowed by circle/hourglass-thingy.

I take the loop in the clockwise direction. Traveling in this direction beginning at sunrise will result in every wilderness area you approach throughout your time on the Grand Circle Loop being brilliantly lit up by the sun.

Knowing these 4 sketchy places along the Grand Circle Loop will enable you to successfully take the loop in a clockwise direction always facing brilliantly lit up scenery all along the loop. Otherwise, the Grand Circle Loop is very well signed, perhaps the best signed trail in Red Rock Canyon.

I had freeze issues on the 3810x stick, then I reset it to factory to clear everything up, the screen shows the language set menu and as soon I put the batteries in the remote the green light flashes and the pairing screen starts with a endless circle loop. what can I do? thanks

A circle route (also circumference, loop, ring route, ring line or orbital line) is a public transport route following a path approximating a circle or at least a closed curve.

Circle routes do have their operational disadvantages. They can be susceptible to delays and bunching,[1] as without a terminus for trains to layover between services, or significant padding in schedules, there is no way for late trains to recover lost time. This issue is particularly pronounced when circle routes share their corridor with other traffic, such as the Inner and Outer Link buses in Auckland, or the London Underground's Circle Line pre-2009;[2] as any sort of delay on the circle route affects other services sharing the same tracks/bus lanes.

Successful circle routes, such as the Yamanote Line in Tokyo and Koltsevaya line in Moscow tend to be isolated lines that do not share corridors with other services; or if they do, have their own dedicated tracks and platforms with any junctions being grade-separated.

The oldest circular rapid transit line was London's Inner Circle, today the Circle line of the London Underground, which was completed in 1884, operated by two separate companies.[3] The route chosen forms the general border of what is today central London. This was followed by the Glasgow Subway which opened in 1896, with the system unchanged to this day. In Moscow Metro, a railway from 1908 was reopened as a passenger line in 2016. More recently, line 3 of the Copenhagen Metro opened in 2019, connecting the city centre to the northern and eastern suburbs. In some cities such as Paris, where lines 2 and 6 encircle the city, multiple services together can effectively form a circular route.

The Green Circle is a 27-mile scenic hiking and biking trail that loops through the Stevens Point area and connects with over 45 miles of additional trails. It winds through forests and parks, over wetlands, and along rivers, recalling the days of huge pineries, pioneer settlements, and the lore of the Wisconsin and Plover Rivers. ff782bc1db
