You can use Bluetooth to connect some devices to your phone without a cord. After you pair a Bluetooth device for the first time, your devices can pair automatically. If your phone is connected to something through Bluetooth, at the top of the screen, you'll find a Bluetooth icon . Learn how to connect a Bluetooth device with our step-by-step tutorial.

Hi I need a little help with this. Basically I have a Bluetooth device that needs to reconnect every hour (Pokmon gotcha) which used to be done automatically by clicking a button on screen. However now android requires me to click a notification to pair and then click a pop up to confirm.

There is an issue though. The CAN Modules are set up in a way that you don't need the pin stuff or any other form of pairing confirmation, you just say that you want to pair with the device and it'll do so. Now, what happens if my App tries to connect to a Bluetooth device that is not a CAN Module, like a phone for example?

When you pair the headset with a device for the first time after purchase or after initializing the headset (if the headset has no pairing information), the headset enters pairing mode automatically if you remove the headset from the charging case. In this case, proceed to step .

@ M Soulier: The problem with location service on android devices is the fact, that it's theoretically possible to get informations about your location via bluetooth. To make sure, no location information can leave your phone when location service is disabled, some of the bluetooth functionalities are disabled as well. Because the Orba app needs enabled location for bluetooth, does not necessarily mean the app uses the location of your smartphone....

The answer is: Activate "location" in android settings, then the orba will be found in the app. You casn even transmit some presets, but the connection is lost after the first acitivity and then has to be restarted

Without a bluetooth connection and without the ability to save, load and export songs, it is a toy. A beautifully designed toy, though. Very sad that Artiphon doesn't get the software working properly after such a long time.

I bought a brand new Smartsolar MPPT 100/20, tried to connect Android (Huawei), Apple (iPhone) or Windows - asks for Passkey ... tries to do pairing, three lights flash quickly ... asks for Passkey ... loops forever. Normally the blue LED flashes.

However, I am unable to get any of the three to connect to each other. They all pair successfully initially, but then I am unable to connect. Occasionally the laptop will say it's connected to the tablet, but the tablet does not agree.

I've tried all of the publicized fixes to deal w/bluetooth connectivity between an android phone and my Macbook Pro (mojave 10.14.2). It indicates "connected" for a couple of seconds then the connection fails. The phone will pair fine w/other bluetooth devices (my truck, a pc) but I tried it with another Macbook Pro and had the same issue. What muddies the water is that it actually worked with Macbook Pro for a few days before I started having this issue. Because it connects w/pc's and my truck, no problem, I'm thinking it's a Mac compatibility issue that has come up, but I'm not sure why it just started happening yesterday morning. No software changes, etc...other than ordinary automatic updates. Please help if possible. Thanks.

Depending on what functions you're trying to use when paired, you might check out the steps and settings recommendations here. These will help make sure your Mac is configured to share with devices like an Android phone: Set up Bluetooth sharing on Mac. This is a great resource that may be helpful as well: Share files between your Mac and Bluetooth devices.

The thread I linked suggests deleting all pairings and rebooting after entering that command but I have not found that to be necessary. Just attempt the pairing again and watch for a notification bubble < click that to open the dialog window where you can confirm the pairing passkey.

Camera: Select Connect to smart device > Pairing (Bluetooth) in the menus, then highlight Start pairing and press J to display the camera name.

Camera: In the menus, select either Connect to smart device or Connect to smart device > Pairing (Bluetooth), then highlight Start or Start pairing and press J (in the case of cameras that do not offer either Start option, the last portion of this step can be omitted).

If you tapped Skip at the top right corner of the welcome dialog to skip pairing when launching SnapBridge for the first time, tap Connect to camera in the tab and proceed to Step 4.

I wanted to pair a bluetooth device (specifically, Dynamo Harvester) with my Moto G 2 (Android 6) with the normal workflow: Open bluetooth system settings, scan for devices, select Dynamo Harvester, enter the PIN and it is paired.

Since the app still did not recognize the Dynamo Harvester, I turned bluetooth off and on again. Now the device has disappeared from the list of paired devices, but appears in the scan list. If I try to pair, I cannot enter a PIN anymore but receive a message Can't communicate with Dynamo Harvester.

iOS devices using Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Buds2, Galaxy Buds2 Pro, or Galaxy Buds Pro: There is no app support for the Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Buds2, Galaxy Buds2 Pro, or Galaxy Buds Pro with iOS products, but you can pair them with Bluetooth to stream music, make calls, and use touchpad controls.

Pairing your Galaxy Buds to your phone or tablet with the Galaxy Wearable app is practically effortless. If you've already paired your earbuds with a phone or tablet, just open the charging case to reconnect them.

To connect a new pair, navigate to and open the Galaxy Wearable app, and then tap Start. Place your earbuds in the charging case, close the lid for 5-6 seconds, and then open the case back up.

These connection steps only work if this is the first device you are pairing with the Galaxy Wearable app. If you want to pair an additional device, open the Galaxy Wearable app, tap Menu (the three horizontal lines), and then tap Add new device. Make sure your earbuds are in pairing mode by inserting them into your ears and holding both touchpads for a few seconds. Next, select them from the list of available devices.

Note: The Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Buds2, Galaxy Buds2 Pro, and Galaxy Buds Pro are not compatible with the iOS app. You can pair them through Bluetooth using the instructions in the next section.

Next, select your earbuds from the list of devices. If needed, make sure to turn on Bluetooth if it isn't on already. When your device is spotted, select it, and then pairing and setup will begin.

These connection steps only work if this is the first device you are pairing with the Buds app. If you want to pair an additional device, open the Buds app, and then tap More options (the three vertical dots). Tap Connect new device, and make sure your earbuds are in pairing mode by inserting them into your ears and holding both touchpads for a few seconds until they enter pairing mode. Next, select them from the list of available devices.

Verify the switch for Bluetooth is turned on. If your earbuds have not been paired to another device, simply open the case to put them into pairing mode. If they are already paired to another device, insert them into your ears and hold both touchpads for a few seconds until they enter pairing mode.

If your earbuds have not been paired to another device, simply open the case to put them into pairing mode. If they are already paired to another device, insert them into your ears and hold both touchpads for a few seconds.

Navigate to the Bluetooth audio device list on your TV, and select the earbuds to pair with. The process is slightly different depending on what model of TV you have. Keep in mind these steps refer to Samsung TVs. If you do not have a Samsung TV, please refer to your manufacturer for specific steps.

When your earbuds are paired with one device but you want to connect them to another, such as a PC, a reset is not required. With your earbuds and the Galaxy Wearable app, there are a few ways to switch devices.

If you paired your Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Buds2, Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Galaxy Buds+, Galaxy Buds Live, or Galaxy Buds Pro to two different phones or tablets using the Galaxy Wearable app, you can switch between them easily.

When connecting the earbuds to a device that has already been signed in to your Samsung account, the pairing information will be available on other devices that share your account. You can then switch connections between those devices. To do this, navigate to and open Settings on your preferred device. Tap Connections, then tap Bluetooth, and then select the earbuds that have been synced with your Samsung account.

Thankfully my BLE issues went away after multiple setting resets and a DFU repair, but oddly enough I actually did try loading the RM firmware a couple times and it bricked upon install each time. Did you install via Bluetooth or directly with qFlipper on your desktop? 2351a5e196
