Language packs add additional display, help, and proofing tools to Microsoft 365. You can install additional language accessory packs after installing Microsoft 365. If a language accessory pack is described as having partial localization, some parts of Microsoft 365 may still display in the language of your copy of Microsoft 365.

If you're an administrator who has deployed a volume licensed version of Office 2016 to your users, you can download an ISO image of the language packs, language interface packs, and proofing tools from the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC).

Select the version of Microsoft 365 you're using from the tabs below, then select the language desired from the drop-down list. Then choose the appropriate architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) from the download links provided. If you're not sure what you're using, see What version am I using?

If the language accessory pack includes proofing tools for that language, its status appears as Proofing installed. If the status is Proofing available, click the link to install the proofing tools.

You can change the default language for all your Microsoft 365 applications in the Set the Office Language Preferences dialog. For more information, see Add a language or set language preferences in Office.

When you use a font designed only for SBCS characters, DBCS characters may not be displayed correctly in the DBCS version of Windows. You need to change the Font object's Name property when developing a DBCS-enabled application with the English version of Visual Basic or any other SBCS-language version. The Name property determines the font used to display text in a control, in a run-time drawing, or during a print operation. The default setting for this property is MS Sans Serif in the English version of Visual Basic. To display text correctly in a DBCS environment, you have to change the setting to an appropriate font for the DBCS environment where your application will run. You may also need to change the font size by changing the Size property of the Font object. Usually, the text in your application will be displayed best in a 9-point font on most East Asian platforms, whereas an 8-point font is typical on European platforms.

An encoding standard is a numbering scheme that assigns each text character in a character set to a numeric value. A character set can include alphabetical characters, numbers, and other symbols. Different languages commonly consist of different sets of characters, so many different encoding standards exist to represent the character sets that are used in different languages.

To avoid problems with encoding and decoding text files, you can save files with Unicode encoding. Unicode accommodates most characters sets across all the languages that are commonly used among computer users today.

Because Word is based on Unicode, Word automatically saves files encoded as Unicode. You can open and read Unicode-encoded files on your English-language computer system regardless of the language of the text. Likewise, when you use your English-language system to save files encoded as Unicode, the file can include characters not found in Western European alphabets, such as Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic, or Japanese characters.

If you don't choose an encoding standard when you save a file, Word encodes the file as Unicode. Usually, you can use the default Unicode encoding, because it supports most characters in most languages.

If your document will be opened in a program that does not support Unicode, you can choose an encoding standard that matches that of the target program. For example, Unicode enables you to create a Traditional Chinese language document on your English-language system. However, if the document will be opened in a Traditional Chinese language program that does not support Unicode, you can save the document with Chinese Traditional (Big5) encoding. When the document is opened in the Traditional Chinese language program, all the text is displayed properly.

Microsoft Translator will now allow over 95% of Indians to access information and work in their native or preferred languages, making computing language-agnostic and more inclusive in India. It can help general users interpret real-time conversations, menus, street signs, websites, and documents. Companies can leverage it to globalize their business and strengthen customer outreach. Microsoft Translator can be used across Windows, iOS, Android, and the web. Microsoft also continues to push the boundaries on the quality of translations across Indian languages.

Microsoft has been using Deep Neural Networks to develop language models for translating and transliterating complex Indian languages. Deep Neural Networks are also sensitive to minor linguistic nuances such as gender (feminine, masculine, neutral), politeness level (slang, casual, written, formal), and word type (verb, noun, adjective). Microsoft continuously improves the translation models in line with tech advancement, usage, and releases newer, improved versions to all its users in a transparent manner.

To solve the problem stated in the question, one needs to set the OneNote language to Bangla. This can be done by right-clicking on the note and then selecting the 'Bangla(Bangladesh)' or 'Bengali(India)' option in 'Set Language'. If one has already typed some text, then he/she needs to first select all text and then change the language. Also, you need to change the language separately for the 'Title' and the 'Body' of the note.
