Recently picked up Beat Coin to watch after becoming affectionate with Joo Woo Jae and I must say, it surprised me a lot. I think it flew off the radar of most people I think 'cause KBS gave it a weird time slot and don't seem to be expecting much from it even if they are still going and at 50 episodes mark now. I guess they're trying to bring some youtube watchers into TV but idk really what's the deal.

First episodes are a bit weird, they rely too much on Sook but they easily create a bond and their dynamic is very good. I'm not a huge fan of Jo Seho's humour but he works so well in this show. If i'm not mistaken, they said in an episode that they're the same team behind Sister's Slam Dunk so that's also interesting. They also have a lot of high profile guests like Jimin, Taeyang, Cha TaeHyun, Twice, etc.

All of the episodes (except 13 for some reason) are subbed on Kocowa so it's easy to pick up for a try if you're looking for some recs. If you like audience+live music type of variety (something a bit Kim Taeho-esque) I'd reccomend episode 12 where they go to a University and they have to gather some students to perform in a festival and also Episode 18 and 19 where JYP joins and brings his band to a school in a far city and then to a proposal of an actor to his wife (this one is very funny cause it's a candid camera and it goes very wrong). But there's tons of different stuff every episode so it's easy to be entertained. Very fun show.

In Beat Coin, Jimin will appear as a special guest and it is the first time he will make a solo appearance on a variety show.
