I have setup my issue security scheme for our service desk project, however, according to documentation, a lock icon should appear on the upper right corner of my issue. In our case, it doesn't appear there so I can't set a security level for the specific issue

But anyway, I have already found the problem on why it wasn't showing up, I found out that I have to also set the Security Level field in my screens for it to show up. Now I can see the lock icon on the upper right corner of our issues

I have an MSI GE75 Raider, and I wanted to secure my laptop to my desk for the dorms in school, so I bought a "Targus Defcon Universal 3-in-1 Cable Lock", which came with a "Kensington T-Bar Lock", "Kensington Nano Security Lock", and a "Trapezoid Noble Wedge Lock". After trying them all, I determined that the T-Bar lock was the only one that would stay in the lock slot in my laptop. The locking mechanism works fine and all, however, the lock itself fits very loosely.

Self Lock is the unique feature that lets you protect your identity in E-Verify and Self Check by placing a "lock" in E-Verify on your Social Security number (SSN). The design behind the lack of a lock slot by HP engineers is disgusting, nor is it understandable: how the hell the expensive machine is supposed to be secured ?? The attempt only to make it a bit more ultra is by someone with a watered brain ! Of course several commercial kits can be used to lock up the machine but all them will make the tablet mode impossible, and to a lesser degree the tent mode. Even the normal position is affected as the lid can not be tilted far back or the lock on the back of lid will pump the desk ! What the hell HP engineers were thinking ???

Just installed a new Smar Lock right out the box. Everything work great until I inserted the key to test the manual unlock. Key will not come back out. Someone on YouTube had the same problem but there was no solution.

Kensington does have a device that actually locks arms in place around the screens...depending on the exact laptop in question it may interfere with the visuals, though. They claim it will work on any standard 13"-17" laptop.

If you are looking for a physcial lock for your YOGA 900+ ultrabook or any other ultrabook that does not have a Kensington lock option and DOES have a 3.5 audio jack: J-Plug Lock imho is the perfect lock.

I would suggest a small closeable (zipper) bag/pouch or the like to keep the lock in it while travelling, so you do not loose the needle bracket and/or the back cover. If the Multplx Tool (screwdriver) fits in there as well, even better :)

This is a really important point: it doesn't matter if you defeated a lock with a tool that thieves don't use. Thieves carry a limited tool set (cable cutters, medium size bolt cutters, pry bars and angle grinders).

Good u-locks provide a nice balance between price, practicality and security. They're generally cheaper, lighter and a little bit easier to use than chain locks, while still providing a high level of protection.
