Been using my Hubitat mostly flawlessly for the last 3 months or so. Currently integrated with Ecobee, Lutron, Hue and Echo. I've recently added a bunch of Zigbee devices, and I'm having issues with the network/radio staying online.

Since adding the Centralite Wall Plugs, it seems like almost every time one of my rules turns the plug on the radio goes offline, and won't come back until I reboot the hub. I have no idea where to start to troubleshoot this, any advice would be appreciated.

@thebearmay is on the right track, whenever the hub gets overloaded, zigbee radio is the first to go. Check your logs for error messages and device stats. Instructions in the forum. Also many threads on troubleshooting Zigbee network offline

So I haven't made any progress identifying the issue - the Centralite plugs don't do energy reporting, and the Sengeled devices (I reconnected them last night to do some testing) do, but it's off for all but one of them. The original rule that was lining up with the Zigbee crash ran tonight and turned the outlet on without crashing the Zigbee radio, so I'm really at a loss now?

Hi,

I am still on the C7. After running with it for about 4 months without a single Zigbee issue, I started getting zigbee radio offline issues. It first happened in early April, and it has happened 3 times since then. I am running the newest firmware and I am pretty diligent at updating them.

Earlier, when it was more serious, I tried putting together some reboot rules based on 'location event' trigger. I tried testing by turning zigbee radio off, but it never picked up on it. Maybe it would if there was a real outage, I don't know.

Thanks, In the mean time, I also found the app hub rebooter which you can configure to trigger off of a virtual button. So my action rule now goes from Zigbee offline to pushing a virtual button that triggers a reboot.

Configuration Backup pulls and stores configuration from devices which are currently online. So, If you have backed up the config file before the device(radio) went offline then the config data will be saved in cnMaestro until you delete the device.

We already have a little script that pulls the configs from all radios once a week, even creates a webpage for each file as a link (management.ip.address.json ) and a gzip with all the files in it (date.backup.gzip) I was just trying to find more uses for cnM.

Got an email about the new october update that mentions you can listen to radio stations offline now. I was wondering how this is done since after switching to offline mode accessing the stations tab isnt possible and there was no download button on the stations either.

Create a folder in the directory ~/offline called fpga_images. This directory name is arbitrary, and is only used for reference within the following steps. Place the zip file containing the FPGA images into this directory, and decompress.

Just doubt it will work without downloading offline Maps first. Also those Maps expire after a few months but hot spot from your phone should cover the update download once in a while.

Most maps software will need wifi the first time, since they download maps in your region, but by setting offline areas you can then use it without a network connection, and just let it update whenever its in range of your home wifi.
