It always seems to be something real dramatic when characters get sick, almost as if they are in a life threatening state where they can't control their actions and they faint...but then they just have a fever. Why is it so bad when anime characters get fevers. I know I have gotten a fever plenty of times and I never really faint when i stand up or act weird or anything I just kind of don't feel great and lay in bed. This is why I'm confused on why it is such a being deal in anime.

So, a bit of a strange question, but were some scenes in certain anime, where the character was sick and was shown as a serious thing? I can think of a few, but I just want to here some examples that other have.

There are some weird comedy series in anime, but Pop Team Epic is definitely one of the weirdest. It's the absurdly random adventures of two strange high school girls, Popuko and Pipimi.
