As you may expect from the franchise, you'll have tons and tons of levels in which to shoot for your three stars. Doing it won't be easy, but at least you can count on invaluable help from your birds.

Angry Birds Space, beyond the slightly modified mechanics, includes other novelties similar to the original. To start, you will have at your disposal new varieties of birds with their corresponding powers. But, you will also have super powers that you will able to use at will.
Bird Side versions of chapters are unlocked after the completion of the Bird Side version of the previous chapter. The first chapter of each film is unlocked automatically. The player can start with whichever film they choose, however chapters and levels must be finished in chronological order. Each of the five films has six chapters with twenty levels each, with three cutscenes per chapter. The Pork Side version is unlocked upon completing the Bird Side. Players are also limited to certain birds the first time they complete a level, but may come back with other characters for a higher score.
For a start, even though the playable birds look like their original counterparts in wigs, they have radically different power ups and properties depending on the characters they depict. The game takes its cue from the original trilogy (thank the heavens) so features that specific storyline and respective features.
Really 40 dollars? I don't care for angry birds to begin with and I think of it as one of the most over rated games ever. (Obviously it is good enough to have a audience just why is it as popular as it is?) If I was desperate I would just get this on my phone though for a buck instead of a console. The biggest change to gameplay is the birds and their new powers that cause even Angry Birds veterans to rethink their strategy. The red bird now styled after Luke Skywalker has a light saber attack that increases the damage radius and also deflects lasers. Yellow Bird goes all Han Solo and shoots first with 3 laser pistol shots that can cause damage a good distance away from impact. Black Bird channels Obi Wan and Force Pushes all over the place. The levels are a mix of the normal gravity based Angry Birds levels and the Angry Birds space levels that include flying through planetary gravities and zero G. The difficulty ramps up from easy to insane pretty quickly thanks to the new powers creating more interesting puzzles but half the fun is figuring out just want to do on those insane levels to not only complete them but get enough score for a 3 star rating. ff782bc1db
