Hi all, I would be running some automation tests on a windows machine (from amazon workspaces ) . The machine gets locked as soon as I disconnect from the desktop session and my tests fail. Is there a good way to keep it unlocked? I have tried ultravnc - _to_keep_the_Windows_desktop_active, configured auto logon, also configured a few registry settings but nothing seems to work.

This fixes the Mac's interpretation of the PC keyboard so that the keys labeled "Alt" correctly are interpreted as the command key, and the windows key is correctly interpreted as the option key. But when I'm using Amazon Workspaces, things still don't line up correctly. So I did this:

Tried to use windows task scheduler to relaunch the scripts each time the Workspace reboots. This has not worked either, despite following various tutorials on how to use the windows task scheduler to launch python scripts on startup.

The hourly billing model was introduced later by AWS, and initially, only a monthly billing option was available. In hourly billing, you are charged an hourly rate while your workspaces are running and a monthly fixed fee for cloud infrastructure costs. In hourly billing, any WorkSpaces that remain idle for a specified period of time automatically stop, saving you the cost and making it purely a pay-as-you-go model.

Most common issue still appears to be in pop-up windows (like for login and product registration) that are blank or the info in them is hung and does not respond, but you still enter the info - you just don't see any changes visually.

No update from Intel. No new drivers released either.

For those trying to survive with this : For some of the apps like TurboTax, there's only a few popup windows that are impacted by the issue... For those windows, if I drag them back and forth between my displays they refresh so I can see what I blindly typed...

Keyboards and the ways keys are configured can differ widely between machines. Citrix Workspace app for Mac therefore offers several choices to ensure that keystrokes can be forwarded correctly to hosted applications and desktops. If you adjust the defaults (using Citrix Workspace app for Mac or other preferences), different keystroke combinations might be forwarded and other behavior might be observed on the Remote PC Access. Please refer to below product doc for more information: -us/citrix-workspace-app-for-mac/configure.html#windows-shortcuts-and-key-combinations

In principle the Windows installation on laptop are the same. For any application installed on windows, it should not matter whether it is Amazon work space or laptop.

Please check to see if other applications such as word/excel open when clicked in the menu in the same manner as is done for SAS EG.

If that works, then please check where the SAS EG link in the menu item points to. The desktop support support should look into this. If the Desktop is centrally managed, then policies and permissions need to be looked into. e24fc04721
