If you email someone but you haven't added them as a contact, Google Contacts automatically saves their email address in your "Other contacts" group. Their email address will show up the next time you email them.

Thank you for your question! At this time, monday.com does not have the ability to sync Gmail contacts directly to a board. Currently the way to accomplish this is through an import from Excel. We appreciate the feedback - and I have made sure to raise this need to our development team.

To keep your contacts backed up and synced to all your devices, you can automatically save device contacts as Google contacts. Google contacts are available across Google services and can be managed on any signed-in device. If the original device is lost or damaged, the contacts can automatically sync to a new device when you sign in.

When you sign out of a phone or tablet, all your Google contacts will be removed from that device to prevent other people who use that device from accessing them. Your Google contacts will remain in your Google Account and sync to a new device when you sign in.

Tip: To use device contacts across Google services without saving them as Google contacts, turn on Save contact info from your devices. That setting includes SIM contacts and contacts syncing with other cloud services, but you can only manage them on the original device. To back up device contacts without saving them as Google contacts, learn how to back up data on your Android device.

Tap Google  Settings for Google apps  Google Contacts sync  Also sync device contacts  Automatically back up & sync device contacts.

You can also use contacts to store additional information about people you care about, like phone numbers, birthdays, and other personal information. And anyone you add to your contacts is immediately available on all your devices where you use Gmail, including your computer, phone, and tablet.

Quick tip: There's also a Contacts app available for Android, which you can download from the Google Play Store. If you're an iPhone user, though, you need to open Gmail in a web browser on your phone following the steps outlined for desktop.

One of the chief advantages of keeping your most important contacts in Google's contacts list is that they're easy to edit and keep up to date. Plus, you can store personal information so birthdays and addresses are always easily accessible. Here's how to edit a contact:

It only takes a moment to delete contacts from Gmail, as long as you know where to look. To start, open the Contacts app on your desktop using the steps explained earlier in this article, or you can go directly to contacts.google.com in your browser. There are two ways to delete contacts:

The technique to delete contacts on an Android device is similar. In the Contacts app, tap and hold the contacts you want to delete until you see a check mark indicating that they're selected, then tap the Trash icon at the top of the screen.

I am a solopreneur working as a vocie actor. I started using Hubspot to track my clients, emails, etc. To do so I of course linked my Gmail to Hubspot so I can send emails and reply from within Hubspot and track everything.

I jsut realised 2 weeks in that hubspot is automatically creating contacts in the CRM for EVERY email I receive. I do not want this to happen!!! I want to be able to add contacts manually. Is this not possible??

@NStoltz I'd advise having another read of the articles linked in my last comment. The main one being the article that breaks down the differences in inboxes to connect. Specifically there's a great part of one of them on connecting a personal inbox to log emails and contacts from a personal inbox on the article linked. This one:

@TomM2 Thank you for the very clear description. I did have all my emails showing up in the conversations so it was linked. I have now unlinked it, however now it seems as though I cannot send emails to my contacts from within Hubspot. (I get a pop-up that say I need to connect my inbox) Is it all or nothing??

I just want to be able to to some lead generation, enter those leads in as contacts, then email them from within Hubspot and log the email and set reminders. I'd rather not have to jump back and forth from Hubspot to Gmail.

@TomM2 Not sure what the difference is. I want to be able to send/log emails from within Hubspot, so they need to be connected correct? I don't want to have to manually log emails that I have sent to prospects.

The sales extensions (such as gmail or office) are meant for personal inbox connections. As you've outlined in previous comments, these do allow for the functionality to choose not to log emails, or not to create contacts from specific emails. Because this feature is designed to service the use case you're looking for.

The sales tool in the later link I posted is what you're looking for from your description. If you're finding every email logged without an extension on your browser/mail client, you're connected to a conversations/support inbox and you need to disconnect that then go through the process in the last link I posted.

Everyone in my team can now create and update their important contacts details, even their CRM customers information, through Gmail directly... or even Google Drive, on their PCs and mobile.... A dream for teams who are moving a lot!

Shared Contacts for Gmail helps the teachers to access all the students' and parents' phones numbers and emails in their favorite apps (gmail, iPhone contacts etc.)The data is always up to date because all admin staff has permission to update the contacts.

Thanks to this service, the IT department doesn't have to worry about contacts anymore! We connected our 3 Active Directories to Shared Contacts and now our users are extremely happy: They can access up-to-date phones numbers from all their devices when they need them.

I just got a new Macbook for the first time in eight years (yay!), and I wanted to sync my contacts. My old Mac had a problem where the messenger app wouldn't recognize contacts, and it turns out my contacts from the last year aren't stored in iCloud. I tried troubleshooting methods online, and I figured out my default account for my contacts was set to my Gmail account? It must have happened when I got a new phone a year ago. Now, when I go to the contacts app and click groups and uncheck my gmail account so it is only icloud contacts, half of my contacts disappear.

So the first thing you can do is just add both accounts to your new Mac and have them both be available. It's not uncommon to have more than one internet account signed in for things like email, notes, and contacts. If you'd rather have everything saved in iCloud though, you'll need to export the Gmail contacts and then import them into iCloud via the website. Exporting a contact creates what's called a vCard, which holds the contact information for each contact. Here's a few links I found that might be of use to you.

I've always stored all of my contacts in Gmail, but would like to transfer them over to iCloud. I see under my Gmail account that I can export all of my Contacts to a variety of formats. And when logged into iCloud, I can likewise import Contacts from those formats. My questions are:

Yes it is linked to your gmail account and with automatically synchronize if you make a change on any device. If you delete the account, the contacts will disappear. However, you can always copy them into the local folders before deleting the account (make sure local folders are showing by going to menu/tools/settings/general/general and select "Show local folders). and you will not loose them.

Choose the location for your exported contacts file, name it, then click the Save button. Note that your browser might automatically download the file to the default download folder depending on your browser and download settings.

NetHunt CRM integrates with Google Contacts, and automatically shares those contacts with the CRM system. This means you can continue working with the contacts like before. Imported contacts are added to a special folder within NetHunt called Contacts and tagged respectively.

But there is another, super easy way to create a contact - if you already have an email from the person. Simply hover your cursor over the email address in your inbox, and wait for the box to pop up, like below:

Go to your gmail account using a web browser, click 'contacts' on the left sidebar. Select all the contacts you want on your phone, and choose to export them in vCard format. This will download a *.vcf file to your computer containing the contacts.

You need to export your gmail contacts as vcf (vCard) file (but not CSV file) and then import the downloaded file into nox player using the nox's "contact app" (if you don't have contact app you will have to download it from play store), then settings under contact on the right side, then import under manage contacts (--> this is located on the left side , downward) . In import you need to select the ".vcf file" option and then Drive if you saved the file on your google drive or internal storage if the vcf file is locally saved. this helped me. 2351a5e196
