My old laptop crashed, purchased a new HP Pavilion 10 GEN i7. Muse starts loading and then immediately closes, I have completely deleted antivirus software, created new profile, deleted multiple times and redownloaded, even tried 2017 version with no luck, I get no codes, muse log below. I have tried opening all ways I know directly with my website files, run as admin etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nancy, I was able to find the PluPlugOwl.dll file and paste it in the Muse folder; thanks for your help. But Muse is still not opening. It now says, "Entry Point Not Found" "The procedure entry point ??1|VulcanMessageListener@api5@vulcan@adobe@@UEAAAXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Mue CC 2018\PlugPlugOwl.dll." Any additional advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Adobe Muse themes are created inside Adobe Muse and shared as a .muse file. Themes do not require any configuration or setup to get running. You could also give it a try with pinegrow. Depending on what you have to edit in future, this might be an alternative non-subscription way to keep the site alive. Exported html files lead to "looking mainly like the site", you did in muse. 3rdparty widgets do not always work as expected, maybe. You could give it a "7 day try for free" by exporting your site as html and load this in pinegrow to see, if its the same appearance (in my case all breakpoints and all parallax stuff works perfect with almost all sites I did). Try to change some image and some text to see, if it fits to your needs. Pinegrow also lets you use Master pages but it has nothing to do with Muse master pages, unfortunately. Its only the exported html, that is interesting for Pinegrow.

Another non-subscription model could be found with blocs, but only when using a Mac. But this could not do anything with your muse nor the exported html. Its just for building a new website without code.

One question. What happens if I just leave the site online? Take it out from Business Catalyst and transfer it through FTP to another hosting, and leave it there? The .muse file will live without problem if I don't have to update? Or should I just make it .html and upload it to another hosting? Can I upload .html file to another host through Muse?

I went with NicePage and so far I've been enjoying it as simple as Muse. It exports as a wordpress Theme and in individual editable pages with a nicepage plug in, inside of wordpress. Is great. Still do maintain dozens of muse pages.

I use adobe muse still as it is buy far the most powerful web building software and I use it for lots of projects! If I buy a new MacBook this year will this software work on Apple' silicon processor?

Not looking good so far. Even after clicking the 'show older apps' function in preferences, muse is not coming up as an available download. I'm going to copy the application from my older computer next, and see if creative cloud recognises it
