I was wondering if it's at all possible to raise a part above the print bed so that it is entirely supported by support materials? I'm printing miniatures and some of them (or parts of in a split mini) have no flat surface. In other slicers, I orient the part to get a good print and then simply raise the part 1-2 mm above the bed and generate supports under the part. This gives me good results, but I'd much prefer using the PrusaSlicer software. It's just plain better IMO.

I just played around with it and I see you're right - the software snaps the part down to the print bed if you try to position it floating above. Then I rotated the part so that a small curved surface was down and only a tiny point on that surface was on the bed and I got supports everywhere else. Isn't that you want?
