I have the newest version of garageband (10.0.3) I've looked everywhere and people seem to think I'm talking about the old garage band but I have the new one (2015), anyways I like to play around with making songs and stuff and I'm trying to figure out how to auto-tune my voice. I know how to do it on the old garageband but i don't on the new one. this is what my garage band looks like, someone please help me figure this out, thanks

2. Does it have Auto-Tune ? Same here, I don't see it listed on the features list or reviews, but I notice there is key/scale quantization and pitch detection/shifting for the samples, so I was wondering if there is also a trick to emulate auto-tune type effect from the input, or if Synthstom has any plans to make use of the existing quantization and pitch detection algorithms in order to bring this feature. That would be crazy

If the drone was not moving enough during auto-tuning, the system identification algorithm might have issues to find the correct coefficients.Increase the FW_AT_SYSID_AMP, MC_AT_SYSID_AMP by steps of 1 and trigger the auto-tune again.

I used the older TC-Helicon VoicePrism Plus live for years - not for auto-tune, but for the voice modelling & feedback destroyer. There was a setting that would make normal singing sound as if you were belting it out... fantastic for a 3 hour gig and being able to still speak afterwards!

It could also add rasp to your vocals, and the weird thing was by practicing with the rasp on, I actually managed to develop a natural rasp myself... I wonder if that'd work for tuning too?

I later upgraded to the VoiceWorks Plus, which has improved voice modelling... but both the standard "Voice Prism" and "VoiceWorks" will do autotune... as will other boxes like the DigiTech vocalist series. They're all probably discontinued now, but you should be able to get used ones on eBay/reverb.

Auto-tune is a coarse-grained solution for limiting backup speed. It reduces the need for manual tuning. However, because of the lack of fine-grained control, auto-tune might not be able to completely remove the impact of backup on the cluster.

Issue 1: For write-heavy clusters, auto-tune might put the workload and backup tasks into a "positive feedback loop": the backup tasks take up too many resources, which causes the cluster to use fewer resources; at this point, auto-tune might mistakenly assume that the cluster is not under heavy workload and thus allowing backup to run faster. In such cases, auto-tune is ineffective.
