Players take on the role of multiple heroes set in a Victorian era horror story full of vampires, walking dead, and much more. Certain levels have shrines that a player can move their heroes to that will buff them in certain ways, there are also shrines designated for specific heroes. These can turn the tide in the heat of battle. Luckily, players have the ability to pause time and choose where to move their heroes before taking on another wave. They can also speed up time if they know they have a great route that will not allow enemies to pass. Be careful, if there is a break in the line, players only have five hits before the monster take over the town.

Along with their heroes, players can utilize items that can help out in a pinch. Bombs that can blow up enemy waves, freeze them in place, and a full on town mob that can overrun a wave really helps up when needing to hold off the hoard.

Banning is harsh, but I agree with the sentiment. We are playing an alliance that has 2 members doing this, they are only worth a total of 14 points each. It would be nice if they would change it so you can only attack with as many heroes you have on defense. That would put an end to it pretty quick.

Through the addition of upgradeable heroes which players maneuver we managed to implement gameplay aspects which appeal both to RPG as well as MOBA fans, besides the classic tower defense fans. A pivotal aspect is taken by the deep layer of RPG elements, represented by rich character skill trees and upgradeable weapons. Additionally, a huge variety of runes will ensure that players can customize their playstyle even further and mold it into the shape they feel most content with.

Defense is a stat available to every playable class, and it is also present on a lot of enemies. Defense provides damage reduction against Normal damage, Damage to all, Retaliation damage. Pure damage is not affected. When defense is lower than roughly half of the attacker's power (DEF < 0.5*ATK - 0.5), the defense serves as a flat, point-by-point damage reduction:

Below 35 attack, defense always starts to become less efficient at reducing damage as soon as the DEF / ATK = 0.5 breakpoint is reached. However for enemies with over 35 attack, defense actually becomes more efficient for a short range after the breakpoint.

Gameplay wise, this generally means that at low attack levels, a few points of defense are strong, linearly reducing enemies' damage until your defense equals half their attack. After this point, defense sharply drops off in effectiveness and even 2-3 points of defense may not even reduce enemy damage by 1.
