Hello everyone, for the people that use the XPS 15 9500, which wifi driver do you use to get a stable connection?

I currently have the newest one from Dell's support page which is the 2.2.1480, A18 (21.110.1.1 in the device manager), and sometimes I do not have a stable connection especially in rooms a bit far from the router. I have uninstalled already the killer control center.

Just bought a new iMac running Mojave and cannot print anything on my 9500 MKII. Get a "Filter Error" everytime. I now realize Canon does not support this printer/OS combination. Has anyone had any success getting a 9500 MK II to print in Mojave? If not, then my wonderful printer has just become an expensive boat anchor.....

The PIXMA PRO9500 MK II was retired prior to the release of Macintosh OS 10.13 High Sierra, and no drivers have been written for the new operating system. The printer will continue to work with OS 10.12 Sierra or earlier. Older versions of the drivers may not provide full functionality on newer computers.

[Ver.2.23]

- Windows 8.1 has been added as a supported OS.

- Windows 8 has been added as a supported OS.

- Windows 7 has been added as a supported OS.

- The following media types have been added as a supported media:

Photo Paper Pro Platinum

- The following function has been added to Print Options in the Page Setup tab:

Disable the color profile setting of the application software

When this function is set to ON, the color profile in the application is disabled, which enables printing using the color profile specified on the driver side.

- With Internet Explorer 11, a web site containing Japanese may not be printed properly. In Windows Update, update the OS and Internet Explorer to the latest version.

- If the printer driver is installed in Windows 8, and if Windows 8 is upgraded to Windows 8.1 while keeping the printer driver installed, Enable bidirectional support in the printer properties may be deselected, disabling detection of the ink level, etc. Re-install the printer driver after upgrading to Windows 8.1 and Enable bidirectional support is selected.

The range-topping PowerScan 9500 series of corded and cordless handheld scanners from Datalogic are designed and built for the most demanding applications and environments. These feature-rich 1D and 2D imagers offer rugged build quality for use in Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics, Retail, and Healthcare. Outstanding robustness and excellent reading performance are the key reasons for the long-standing success of the PowerScan 9500 model variants, providing speed and reliability when managing goods and tracking parts or materials. The omnidirectional and long-range scanning capabilities let you read all types of codes from any angle, with perfect good-read feedback every time. The PowerScan DPM models include the latest optics and software from Datalogic, to make the reading of codes with DPM easier and more intuitive. There are enough connectivity and networking options to suit all your needs. Your job is simple: aim, trigger, decode.

The PowerScan 9500 series performance is unmatched in the handheld scanner sector. Each unit is built to last and the model is tested to an incredible 10 million trigger hits. You can work comfortably from shift to shift, with the full knowledge that the IP65 rating will keep you free from particulate contamination and water ingress, as well as the ability to withstand at least 50 drops onto concrete from a height of 2 m. This resilience ensures that you get the lowest possible total cost of ownership as your PowerScan continues to perform day in and day out. The scanner window, cradle contacts, and battery are all easily replaceable in the field so that you can keep on working with minimal disruption. The PowerScan 9500 range is the only scanner you will need.

The PowerScan 9500 range is extensive enough to cover the most diverse applications. Whether you require a wired or cordless model, with or without physical keys, or require long distance code reading capability, there is a model to suit your needs. Datalogic has equipped the PowerScan 9500 series with 3GL (Three Green Lights) technology to ensure optimum good-read feedback. With the unique Green Spot visual feedback on the object you are scanning, you also have a direct visual green indicator feedback on the top and rear of the unit. All of this is accompanied with a loud beep when the operator is working in conditions where visibility is poor. The reading performance is further enhanced on models equipped with liquid lens technology for reading of combined standard, wide, and high-density codes.

I still have a Canon Pixima Pro 9500 as this printer creates beautiful results. Since the last OS upgrade the printer is no longer printing properly. The driver is still part of the OS but no longer working properly. The prints are garbled. It seems a bit of a 32/64 bit problem as the printer seems to output every pixel twice at the same place not advancing the paper properly. A Windows 10 machine is still printing properly on this Canon.

Canon has not produced printer drivers for the PIXMA Pro 9500 since macOS Mavericks (10.9), and not since High Sierra (10.13) for the PIXMA Pro 9500 Mk II printer. That means that you are likely dealing with 32-bit drivers in Catalina, and your compatibility from Canon is lost. Apple's AirPrint does not support either device.

I got the new Dell XPS 15 9500 with the Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX500-DBS WIFI module.

Unfortunately, the Module is not recognized correctly and not usable.

In the device list, it looks like it is recognized as a Qualcomm Device 1101.

The AX500 is not supported at this time, there is no upstream driver. This is why Dell is still using the AX1650 on the machines they are selling with Linux. This should by supported by the ath11k driver, which I think is targeted for linux 5.9 series kenels, and will likely be out in late fall. Closing as upstream, though I would expect if you want to run rawhide kernels, support should be there in 3-4 weeks.

i tried that BWC driver and i was quite dissatisfied because i want to use the control panel and he didnt include the install files. So i did the driver myself, and here i write how you can do it, i posted it elsewhere on the net also. THERE is one flaw. i cannot enable dualview. preferably first, uninstall your current driver (i had 94.24_forceware_winxp_english_whql) to avoid no control panel loading at all. download 190.62_desktop_winxp_32bit_english_whql and run. it will put the drivers in and tell you the controlpanel couldnt be installed. running the CPL msi by itself gave the error "Setup failed to read the required Display Driver to be used with this package. Setup will not continue", leave it open and go to the "local settings\temp" directory and look for random characters like {925BE668-2... and copy the MSI file from there to another dir, and exit the setup. create a new folder in my documents, then do the following to extract it:

in "new folder" i find: Nvidia control panel.msi (2.56Mb), and System32 and Windows folders. move the files to the appropriate folders and reboot. if you rebooted, doing only the drivers, you should get two errors looking for files which is good. if you did both and you got errors you did something wrong.

I go to enable dualview and reboot and it doesnt work. opening display properties may bring up the error (you may have to enable dualview more times to see it, or via the tray icon) "The Currently selected graphics driver can not be used. It was written for a previous version of Windows, and is no longer compatible with this version of Windows...". there is no ! beside it in Device Manager so i bet its a simple registry tweak. after fooling in the registry i seem to have only managed to remove the error, i dont get the two displays. so i can make do with horizontal span or because i have an X700 card in the machine too i can run two monitors on that

from memory the latest 306 drivers, dont work at all, and i tried 270 and i cant get the control panel to work - it couldnt find NvStartup in NvCpl.dll and got an error for NvMcTray.dll too. and unlocker is required if you happen to be updating the control panel from within windows (stop the nvidia service too).

The latest drivers do work but require the unofficial kernel (the latest weekly/daily of UURollup or the BWC kernel). I've tested them on my computer with an old nVIDIA GF6600. I don't know yet about Dual Display support though.

Hi, my OMEN pc has an intel i5 9500 6 core cpu which was working with all 6 cores and 12 logical processors available, however it now shows that there is only 1 core and 1 logical processor and the system is now extremely laggy and freezes especially under heavy loads such as multiple programs running concurrently, which it never had a problem with before. The only hardware change was that I swapped SSDs with another desktop(HP Pavillion gaming 690-0xx). And get this after the swap some of the system information from the HP Pavillion migrated to the HP Omen such as serial number, System name and system SKU. I have tried using msconfig. to reset the cores but only 1 shows up. I have updated the bios as well as formatting the ssd and reinstalling a clean version of windows 10. I have run all the diagnostic tests on the hardware and all the components passed. Kindly assist if you have an idea what the issue might be. e24fc04721
