Welcome to Couples Diary App: Dovly ("Dovly," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Dovly is a couples companion app that gives partners a private digital space to track their days together, store memories with photos, save important dates and birthdays, and keep personal notes about each other. Both partners contribute to a shared space that syncs in real time.
3. User Accounts
Dovly does not require email registration to use the Service. Your account is automatically created using your device's unique identifier on first launch. Purchases and premium access are associated with your Apple ID via the App Store. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device. If you lose access to your device and have not set up a backup email, your account data may not be recoverable.
4. Couple Pairing
One partner creates a couple space and shares an invite link with their partner. By accepting an invite link, you are joining a shared private space. Each user may only be an active member of one couple space at a time. Leaving a couple space does not automatically delete shared data.
5. Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service only for lawful and personal purposes. You must not:
Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Upload photos or content that violate applicable laws or third-party rights including copyright and privacy rights.
Upload content that is abusive, hateful, or harmful.
Attempt to disrupt, damage, or interfere with the Service or its systems.
Reverse engineer, copy, or misuse any part of the Service.
Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm another person including your partner.
6. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of all photos, memories, and content you upload or create using Dovly. By using the Service, you grant Dovly a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. Dovly does not claim ownership of your photos or personal content. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to use and upload the content you add to the Service.
7. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, designs, software, the Dovly mascot character, and application content excluding user-generated content are the exclusive property of Dovly or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or sell any part of the Service without prior written permission.
8. Purchases and Subscriptions
Dovly may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions for premium features including unlimited memories, unlimited cards, custom themes, and exclusive badge packs. All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through App Store settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payments are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or App Store policies.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dovly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service including but not limited to loss of data, relationship disputes, or account access issues. You use the Service at your own risk.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if these Terms are violated or the Service is misused.
12. Modifications to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
