Privacy Policy — Duodash

Duodash (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is an iOS driving dashboard that shows a split workspace, live driving status, and an in-app browser. An In-App Purchase (Duodash Pro) is required before you can use the App. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

1. Overview

Duodash does not require an account. The App uses your location only while you use it, to show your position on the map, display speed and heading, preview routes, and record trip distance. Location and trip data stay on your device.

2. Information on your device

2.1 Location

When you allow Location, the App reads location on this device to place you on the map and calculate speed, heading, and trip distance. Precise Location improves those readings. The App does not request Always location.

2.2 Trips and preferences

Completed trips, bookmarks, browsing history, homepage, layout, and similar settings are stored locally on your device.

2.3 Website content

The in-app browser and, when you choose Google Maps, the map pane load public websites you open. Those sites are provided by their owners, not by us.

3. Network / third-party service

Core dashboard features work on this device. Map search and route preview use Apple MapKit on this device. If you choose Google Maps, the App opens Google’s public maps website. The in-app browser loads the pages you request.

In-App Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

If you open Privacy, Terms, or Support, the App may open the published web page or Mail. That request is made only when you choose those actions.

We do not operate a Duodash backend that stores your location or trips.

We do not upload your location or trips to our own server.

4. What we do not collect

We do not require registration in the App.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use advertising SDKs or ad tracking in the App.

We do not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt for advertising tracking.

5. Permissions

• Location When In Use — to show your position, speed, heading, and trip distance while you use the App

• Precise Location — to place you accurately on the map and calculate speed, heading, and trip distance

• No microphone, contacts, photos, Always location, or tracking permission is used

6. Sharing

Files or links leave the App only when you use Share or open a page. You control those destinations.

7. Retention and deletion

Clear browsing history, website data, or trip history in Settings. Uninstalling Duodash removes the App’s local data from that device per iOS behavior.

8. Children

The App does not target children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
