This "Terms of Service" is signed between you (hereinafter referred to as "user") and Viet Lens Information Technology Company (hereinafter referred to as "Viet Lens") in the use of software researched and developed by Viet Lens. The agreement is effective at the time of registration.
Important things to know
Please read this Terms of Use carefully (minors should read the agreement with their guardians) and fully understand the terms of this agreement. In case you do not agree with any of our terms of use, please do not download, install, use the application or remove the application from your mobile device.
When the user clicks the "Agree" button during the account registration process, the user fully accepts all the terms of this agreement.
After successful registration, each user will have an account and password provided by Viet Lens. The user is responsible for keeping the account and password. Users need to keep their accounts and passwords to avoid disclosure. If their accounts and passwords are misappropriated, users shall bear all legal responsibilities for the activities and events that occur with their accounts
Service Content
The specific content of the Chinese Boss service is provided by Chinese Boss according to the actual situation, such as Chinese Boss's interactive courses, lesson unit editing, personal learning data, goal setting, and all app functions, etc.
Some paid services are provided by Chinese Boss, users need to pay a certain fee to Chinese Boss to use the paid services. For paid services, Chinese Boss will clearly remind users before use. Only after users confirm their willingness to pay the relevant fees according to the prompt can users use the paid services. If the user refuses to pay the relevant fees, Viet Lens has the right to not provide the paid services to the user.
The user understands that Viet Lens only provides services related to software, service-related devices (such as mobile phones, personal computers and other devices related to Internet access or mobile networks) and necessary costs (such as internet fees and phone fees used to access the network, phone fees paid to the network operator) will be paid by the user.
The user agrees to let Viet Lens use the information obtained through the service, including but not limited to rankings, so that other Viet Lens users can view personal information such as avatars, usernames, etc.
For some content such as Youtube videos, Viet Lens application does not own the entire content but aggregates it from content creation channels on Youtube through Youtube's API with the goal of supporting learners with diverse learning resources. All third-party content is not copyrighted and Viet Lens respects the copyright of the owner by fully citing the owner's information.
User Usage Rules
Users have the right to use the personal homepage, upload avatars, and share personal information provided by Viet Lens.
Users must comply with the laws and regulations of the relevant country when using Viet Lens, and the content must not contain information about any of the following:
Opposing the basic principles established by the Constitution;
Endangering national security, revealing state secrets, overthrowing state power, and undermining national unity;
Damaging national honor and interests;
Inciting ethnic hatred, ethnic discrimination, and undermining national unity;
Undermining the country's religious policy, promoting sects and feudal superstitions;
Spreading rumors, disturbing social order and destroying social stability;
Spreading obscenities, pornography, gambling, violence, murder, terrorism or abolition of crimes;
Insulting or defaming others, infringing on the legitimate rights and interests of others;
Containing false, harmful, coercive, infringing on the privacy of others, harassing, infringing, slanderous, vulgar, or other morally objectionable content;
Containing other content restricted or prohibited by Chinese laws, regulations, rules, regulations and any other legally effective regulations;
Containing content that Chinese Boss deems to be detrimental to Chinese Boss's operations.
4. Users are required to be aware of the rules of use. Chinese Boss is for personal communication, study and non-commercial use only. Users may not use this service to buy and sell information, or use this service for investigation, survey, advertising or other commercial purposes.
5. Users must ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the information sent when using Viet Lens, and ensure that they do not send rumors or information that is inconsistent with the truth and causes discomfort to others.
6. Users guarantee that they will not send or disseminate information that violates intellectual property rights while using Viet Lens.
7. If the user performs the acts stated in clauses 3-6 above, the user shall bear all responsibility for the violations. If any loss occurs to Viet Lens, Viet Lens has the right to claim benefits from the responsible user. At the same time, Viet Lens has the right to terminate the provision of services to users who violate the rules or the law. If the government or judicial authority requires Viet Lens to notify specific information to users who violate the rules, Viet Lens has the right to provide information according to current regulations.
8. The user agrees that Viet Lens has the right to place many commercial advertisements or any other types of commercial information in various ways during the provision of the service and the user agrees to accept Viet Lens sending product advertisements or related commercial information to the user via e-mail or other methods.
Intellectual Property Rights
When using Viet Lens to share personal works or interpret the works of others, users must not infringe upon the copyright of third parties.
When users use Viet Lens to share information, the original copyright belongs to the user. The user's sharing behavior is a permission for online dissemination behavior, allowing other users to copy and share the above information.
Service changes, interruptions or termination
Based on the special nature of the service, users agree that Viet Lens has the right to change, interrupt or terminate part or all of the service (including paid services and free services) at any time. If the service is changed, interrupted or terminated as a free service, Viet Lens does not need to notify the user, nor does it need to bear any responsibility to any user or any third party; If the service is changed, interrupted or terminated as a paid service, Viet Lens shall notify the user before changing, interrupting or terminating the service, and provide an equivalent alternative paid service to the affected user. If the user is not willing to accept the alternative paid service, Viet Lens shall pay the remaining service fee to the user after deducting the corresponding service fee based on the user's actual service usage situation.
The user understands that Viet Lens needs to periodically or irregularly repair or maintain the service providing platforms or related equipment. If this situation causes an interruption to the paid service for a reasonable period of time, Viet Lens shall not be responsible for this, but Viet Lens shall notify the user before the incident occurs.
If any of the following situations occur, Viet Lens has the right to interrupt or terminate the services provided to the user under this agreement at any time:
The personal information provided by the user is not true;
The user violates the usage rules stipulated in this agreement;
The user does not pay the corresponding service fee to Viet Lens when using the paid service;
A force majeure situation occurs such as natural disasters, making Viet Lens unable to operate;
If the free service account registered by the user is not actually used within 90 consecutive days, or the paid service account registered by the user is not actually used within 180 consecutive days from the expiration of the service term, Viet Lens has the right to delete the account and stop providing related services to the user
If the free account nickname registered by the user violates the laws, regulations or violates the requirements of national policies, or violates the legitimate rights and interests of any third party, Viet Lens has the right to revoke the account nickname.
Viet Lens has the right to interpret this agreement.

The scope of use of this statement includes all users of Viet Lens, and personal data when users register for an account, and also includes personal data that will be used when cooperating and collaborating with Viet Lens, but does not include employees managed by Viet Lens.

In addition to registration and operation activities, Viet Lens will not proactively ask users to provide any personal information. When you register an account through the Viet Lens app, in order to distinguish users and recommend services that interest you, you may need to provide the Viet Lens app with some personal information (including but not limited to gender, occupation and interests). You are responsible for keeping your account information and password confidential. If you do not fulfill your information security responsibilities, thereby causing any problems with your account, you will be fully responsible for this issue. At the same time, due to the unpredictable factors in the network environment, or due to the network of the terminal (including but not limited to network failure, hacker attacks, viruses...) leading to your personal information or account being stolen by a third party, the Viet Lens app will not be responsible for compensation for damages.
When you access the Viet Lens application on your mobile device or use the services provided by the Viet Lens application, the Viet Lens application may record information related to the user's activities (including but not limited to the user's computer IP address, device identifier, hardware model, system version, user's location, and log information related to the Viet Lens service), in order to facilitate Viet Lens in providing you with better services.
In addition to the above information, the Viet Lens application may also collect other user information based on reasonable requests to improve service quality and service provision, including user recordings, relevant information provided by users when contacting the Viet Lens application's customer service department, information that users answer when participating in Viet Lens's survey, along with relevant information when users interact with Viet Lens or apps related to Viet Lens.
Other Terms
In order to protect the security of user information, Viet Lens has been and will continue to make efforts to implement physical and electronic security measures and use various management measures to protect user information, so that user information is not leaked, damaged or lost, including but not limited to: information encryption storage, data center access control. Viet Lens application also strictly manages employees or external employees who may come into contact with user information, including but not limited to setting different rights according to different positions, signing confidentiality agreements with employees and other measures. If you have any questions about Viet Lens's privacy or if you believe your rights have been violated, you can send us comments or suggestions. Viet Lens will try its best to improve the items in your comments as soon as possible, in order to provide you with better services.
Viet Lens's automatic renewal rules
If you click to register, activate and use the Viet Lens Plus/ automatic renewal service, you are deemed to understand and agree to the following rules:
This service is an automatic renewal service provided to you on the basis of your previous Viet Lens Plus/ membership upgrade. If you activate this service, when your Viet Lens Plus/ membership service is about to expire, from your own top-up account, linked to third-party payment accounts, bank cards, contact accounts, iTunes accounts and other accounts (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Accounts") will be deducted from the balance of the service fee for the next billing cycle, including but not limited to monthly, quarterly, annually, etc. The premise of this service is that you have opened and linked an account, then you can successfully deduct money from the above account. The risk and/or loss of unsuccessful renewal due to insufficient balance deducted in the above account will be your responsibility.
2. Subscription cycle: 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, ... members can choose for themselves. After canceling the subscription, you can still use the subscription service during the paid period. For example, if you purchase a one-year subscription service of Viet Lens Plus on January 1 and decide to cancel the subscription on July 1, you can still enjoy all our course content services before December 31; the system will not charge you the annual subscription fee in January of the following year.
3. After subscribing to the automatic renewal service, 24 hours before the end of each billing period, the relevant account will be automatically deducted, and the membership validity period corresponding to the billing period will be automatically renewed.
4. The method to cancel the automatic renewal of Apple in-app payment users (IAP payment, in-app purchase) is as follows: ①Open the Apple phone "Settings" ②Enter "iTunes Store and App Store" ③Click "Apple ID", select "View Apple ID", enter the "Account Settings" page, click "Subscriptions", select Chinese Boss to cancel the subscription.
