As you know, lol just created a mobile game called: lol wild rift which is aiming for the ios and android. Me as a dota 2 player i fall in love with this game especially when i am at work and i have nothing to do, millions of people have an ios or android devices, so this is very big market for dota to be in it. Is there any chance for dota 2 to be mobile?

Developed by Super Evil Megacorp, Vainglory burst onto the mobile scene in 2015 and since then has grown into one of the most popular mobile MOBAs after Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Arena of Valor. Vainglory is MOBA on mobile, not MOBA for mobile. It stays true to the genre with a large enough map, multi-dimensional champions, complex item strategies and long game sessions, making a great alternative for Dota 2 on mobile.

Wild Rift is an upcoming MOBA developed by Riot Games, similar to its PC counterpart, League of Legends. Riot Games has said that Wild Rift will be available for iOS, Android and consoles by the end of 2020. The game went through a limited alpha launch in Brazil and the Philippines in June 2020 and a Closed Beta is currently live in South East Asia. So far the game has brought a total of 40 champions from the League of Legends, 34 from Alpha and 6 new for Beta. Their visuals were updated to better match their appearances in Lore and some of their abilities were changed to better work on mobile and consoles.

While some of the gameplay mechanics have been simplified for mobile devices, the game still retains a lot of the complexity from its PC parent, making a good alternative to Dota 2 on mobile.

Mobile Legends is a game with a lower skill ceiling compared to other MOBAs and, obviously to Dota 2. With shorter game times, easier mechanics and fewer factors to consider for effective decision-making, the game is great for the casual mobile MOBA player. The game helps the player make item decisions in a lot of ways. The maps are much smaller, also reducing the number of turrets and objectives. Although Mobile Legends still has a large hero pool (98 heroes currently available) and the high skill ceiling has led to a thriving esports scene. Apart from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, there are other games like Arena of Valor and MARVEL Super War with slightly lower levels of difficulty.

The website is entirely in Chinese, but it asks for your name, email address, password and to complete a Captcha code. Once you have your account created, you will receive an email when the mobile version is ready to go live.

Valve Corporation is reportedly seeking a compensation of around 5 million USD, which seems like small change as Legend of DOTA had occupied the top mobile game spot in China for months. IP infringement is not an uncommon thing in China, especially when it comes to games. Hundreds of smaller mobile titles based on DOTA characters are still being churned out every year in the country.

Brawls Stars is the latest game from mobile developers Supercell, best know for their previous games Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. When Clash Royale first came out I played it for weeks. But it quickly became more of a grind then a game. So I was very hesitant to try out Brawl Stars. Luckily, Supercell has made Brawl Stars significantly less grind heavy than their other games.

Brawl Stars controls well and feels perfectly built for mobile devices. Holding the device sideways, you move using a virtual left stick and aim using virtual right stick. But I rarely ever aim. Instead players can just tap the right side of the screen and auto attack the closet enemy. This is perfect when you are being chased and need to shoot behind you.

Starting off with what's least surprising: the developers' decision to take Auto Chess to the mobile platform, making it accessible to both iOS and Android phones. Games on phones are an exponentially growing industry and especially in China, where Drodo Studio is based, there is no end in sight to the market's monstrous growth.

What is surprising, however, is the company Drodo Studio is partnering up with: Dragonest. Developer of their self-proclaimed 'international hit game' Implosion, Dragonest has been having a go at the Chinese mobile market for a while. The partnership does mean that Auto Chess' mobile version will have to drop the iconic Dota 2 characters. Though as can be seen on the game's sign-up page, Auto Chess' mobile characters will bear a striking resemblance to Valve's creations.

The announcement is also paired with some unclear promises, which no doubt shall be explained in the future. For one, while Chinese players can already link their Steam account, it is unsure how the interaction between the Dota mod and the mobile game will work, and when other regions can access the same service. Lastly, an ambitious global league of 10,000,000 Chinese Yuen (approximately 1.49 million USD) has been announced, but that too is shrouded in mystery.

Drodo Studio believes that Auto Chess will be as popular on the mobile. There is no doubt that a lot of people will play it on mobile. A massive portion of the Auto Chess player base comes from DOTA, but the game has its own player base as well.

The mobile version might not be as popular as the original mod but it will be able to create its own player base as a stand-alone. Drodo decided the game will not use any Valve characters and release with its own heroes or characters., which means the mobile version has nothing to do with DOTA.

With a mobile release from the original developers will end any competition on the mobile platform for Auto Chess. It will also appeal to players who are interested in the game because of the mechanics and not because of DOTA 2. ff782bc1db
