1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Dot Matrix Elimination (“the App”), published under the developer contact email above, handles information when you use the App on Android devices. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
2. Information we collect
The App is designed primarily as a local, offline-style casual game. We do not require you to create an account and we do not operate our own servers to collect gameplay data from the App in the current version described in this policy.
3. Data stored on your device
The App may store non-sensitive preferences on your device using Android’s local storage mechanisms (for example, SharedPreferences), such as sound, music, vibration, difficulty, and language selections. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us by the App itself in the current implementation.
4. Permissions
Vibrate: Used only to provide optional haptic feedback during gameplay or UI interactions when you enable vibration in settings.
Advertising ID (if declared in the app manifest): Your build configuration may declare the Advertising ID permission required by some Google Play / advertising integrations. In the current open-source-style build reviewed for this policy, the App does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs and does not intentionally collect or transmit your Advertising ID to the developer. If your published build differs (for example, if you add ads or analytics), you must update this policy and the Google Play Data safety section accordingly.
5. Children’s privacy
The App is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through the App, please contact us at the email above and we will take appropriate steps.
6. Third-party services
The App uses standard Android and Google libraries as part of the platform (for example, AndroidX / Material components). Those components are governed by their respective providers’ terms and policies. We do not embed additional third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the dependency list used for this description.
7. Data retention and deletion
Preference data stored locally remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the App, unless the operating system manages it differently.
8. International users
If you use the App outside your country of residence, your information (if any is processed by the platform) may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where you use the device.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
