TCWA Dos Pueblos Folkstyle Wrestling Tournament

We are thrilled to invite you and your athletes to the Preseason Dos Pueblos Folkstyle Wrestling Tournament on October 5, 2024, at Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta, CA. This event, in partnership with the Tri-County Wrestling Association (TCWA), offers a fantastic opportunity to sharpen your skills before the season.

Registration

Registration is open now! No walk-up registration. Online registration remains open until 8 AM the morning of the tournament.

• Cost: $20 per wrestler

• Weight Submission: Wrestlers must submit their weight during online registration. Spot checks will be conducted at the event.

• Registration Deadline: 8:00 AM, Saturday, October 5

New Registration Process via USA Wrestling:

Registration is open now! This year, TCWA is using USA Wrestling for registration instead of TrackWrestling. Matches will still be managed on TrackWrestling. Here’s a step-by-step guide to registering:  

If You Have a USA Wrestling Login:

1. Go to the TCWA Dos Pueblos Folkstyle  Registration Page and click "Register Now."

2. Log in to your USA Wrestling account.

3. Select your profile to proceed.

4. Provide your age division, weight, experience, and emergency contact info.

5. Complete registration by paying the $20 fee.

Note: Registration is NOT complete until payment is made.

If You Do NOT Have a USA Wrestling Login:

1. Create a Login: Go to the USA Wrestling Membership page and create a new login if you don’t already have one.

2. Go to Profiles: After creating your login, you'll see the "Welcome to the USA Wrestling Membership System" page. Click "Go To Profiles" under Step 1.

3. Claim Your Profile (if your coach has already created one): If a profile has been set up for you, click "Claim Profile" to link it to your login.

4. Create a New Profile (if no profile exists): If no profile is available to claim, create a new one. Be sure to check for an existing profile first, as many high school teams may have already set one up.

5. Return to Registration: Once your login and profile are set up, follow the steps for "If You Have a USA Wrestling Login" to complete your registration.

Note: Registration is NOT complete until the $20 entry fee is paid at the end of that process.

USA Wrestling Cards:

• Coaches must have a current USA Wrestling card to receive a wristband and coach mat-side.

• All athletes must have a current USA Wrestling card to compete.

Event Schedule:

• Registration: Open now until 8:00 AM, Saturday, October 5

• Kids Check-in: 8:00-8:30 AM

• Kids Start Time: 9:00 AM

• High School Check-in  (16U and JRs): 10:00-10:30 AM

• High School Start Time: 11:00 AM

To help prevent bottlenecks, please start checking in as soon as the check-in period begins. 

Tournament Information & Amenities:

• Concessions: Coffee, pastries, pizza, hotdogs, and more.

• Mexican Food Truck: On-site serving delicious Mexican cuisine.

• Gate Fee: $5 for kids, $10 for adults.

• Payment Options: We accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, and credit cards.

Team Tents

We’ll have a designated area for team tents behind the gym, so feel free to set up a comfortable space for your athletes and families. Bring your pop-up tents, chairs, blankets, and anything else to create a relaxing spot between matches. It’s a great way to enjoy the tournament atmosphere together while cheering on your team!
