About the project
El projecto “Dos orillas”, impulsado por la Agregaduría de Educación del Consulado de España en Miami, tiene como objectivo crear un marco internacional de colaboración e intercambio lingüístico, cultural y educativo entre centros educativos de Miami-Dade y Galicia. Se trata, por tanto, de una propuesta de intercambio en linea entre los centros educativos Royal Palm Elementary School y el CEIP Plurilingüe de Sigüeiro con el objetivo de aumentar la motivación del alumnado, potenciar un aprendizaje significativo y efectivo de la lengua extranjera y proporcionar una educación para una ciudadanía global.
The “Dos Orillas” project, promoted by the Education Office of the Spanish Consulate in Miami, aims to create an international framework for collaboration and linguistic, cultural and educational exchange between schools in Miami-Dade and Galicia. It is, therefore, an online exchange proposal between Royal Palm Elementary School and CEIP Plurilingüe de Sigüeiro with the objective of increasing student motivation, promoting meaningful and effective learning of the foreign language and providing a education for global citizenship.
