Effective date: 19 August 2026
Doravo is a business management and invoicing application developed by Andrej Geletič (“Developer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how Doravo accesses, processes, stores, and shares information when you use the application.
Doravo is designed with a local-first privacy approach. Business information entered into Doravo is primarily stored and processed directly on your device rather than on servers operated by the Developer.
Depending on the features you use, Doravo may process information that you enter into the application, including:
Business name and business contact details
Business address and registration information
Tax and VAT/GST information
Business bank or payment details
Customer names and contact details
Customer addresses
Job and project information
Quotes and estimates
Invoices and invoice line items
Payment records
Expense records
Supplier information
Notes and references
Photos, receipts, attachments, and other business documents
Application settings and preferences
Locally stored backup and restore information
This information is provided by you and is used to provide Doravo's business-management, invoicing, document-generation, payment-tracking, expense-management, and related functions.
Doravo is designed so that your business data is stored primarily on your device.
The Developer does not operate a Doravo cloud account or Doravo cloud database for storing your business records.
Doravo does not require you to create a Doravo user account in order to use the application's core functionality.
Information processed only on your device is not transmitted to the Developer merely because you use Doravo.
The current version of Doravo is designed not to automatically transmit your business records, customer records, invoices, expenses, attachments, or similar business data to servers operated by the Developer.
Doravo does not sell your personal information or your customers' information.
Doravo does not use your business or customer data for advertising.
Doravo does not use an app-operated advertising network.
Doravo is not designed to perform background collection of precise location, contacts, SMS messages, call history, health information, or similar unrelated personal information.
Doravo may request access to certain device capabilities when required for a feature you choose to use.
Doravo may allow you to take or select photos, for example to attach receipts, expense documents, job photos, logos, or other business documents.
Doravo accesses such content only when required for the feature you use and subject to permissions provided by your device.
Doravo may allow you to select, create, import, export, save, or share files such as invoices, receipts, backups, and other business documents.
Doravo may use device notifications for locally generated reminders or alerts where this functionality is enabled.
You can control application permissions through your device settings.
Doravo may allow you to intentionally share or export information.
For example, you may choose to:
Send or share an invoice
Share a quote
Export a PDF or another document
Export business data
Create or save a backup
Import a document
Save files to a storage provider
Share files through another application installed on your device
When you intentionally use a sharing or export feature, the information you select may be transferred to the application, email provider, cloud-storage provider, messaging service, or other destination that you choose.
Such transfers are initiated by you.
Once information is transferred to a third-party service, that service processes the information according to its own terms and privacy policy. The Developer does not control how a third-party service selected by you processes that information.
Doravo may allow you to create portable backups of your business information.
Backups are created for the purpose of allowing you to protect, transfer, or restore your own business data.
Where backup functionality is available, you choose where the backup is saved or shared, for example through your device storage or a storage provider available through the operating system.
Doravo does not operate its own cloud backup service.
You are responsible for protecting backup files and for deleting copies stored with third-party storage providers when they are no longer required.
Deleting Doravo from your device does not automatically delete copies of backups that you previously exported to another location.
Doravo may offer optional paid digital features or a Premium version through Google Play.
If you make a purchase through Google Play, the payment transaction is processed through Google's payment services.
Doravo may receive information necessary to determine the status of a purchase or Premium entitlement.
The Developer does not receive or store your full payment-card details through Doravo.
Payment information processed directly by Google is subject to Google's applicable privacy terms and policies.
Doravo may interact with third-party services only where necessary for a feature or when you explicitly choose to use such a service.
Examples may include:
Google Play services required for application distribution or purchases
Your device operating system
A file-storage provider chosen by you
An email application chosen by you
A messaging or sharing application chosen by you
An e-invoicing or compliance provider that you explicitly configure, where such functionality is available
Where Doravo introduces a feature that transfers information to a third-party service, this Privacy Policy and the application's disclosures will be updated where required.
Business data stored locally in Doravo remains on your device until it is deleted through available application or device functions, removed as part of application data deletion, or removed when the application is uninstalled, subject to the behavior of your operating system and any backups you have created.
Certain finalized business documents may be intentionally protected from ordinary modification inside Doravo in order to preserve business, accounting, tax, or legal records.
This does not mean that the Developer stores those documents remotely.
Any exported copies or backups stored outside Doravo must be managed and deleted separately by you.
Doravo does not require a Doravo cloud account, and therefore there is no Doravo server-side user account containing your business database that must be deleted separately.
You may remove locally stored Doravo data using functionality available in the application or through your device's application-storage settings.
You may also remove local Doravo data by uninstalling the application, subject to your operating system's behavior.
Backups, PDFs, exported files, or other documents that you previously saved outside Doravo are not automatically deleted when Doravo is uninstalled. These must be deleted separately from the location where you saved them.
Doravo is designed to minimize unnecessary transmission of business information by processing and storing core business data locally where possible.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the application to protect information processed by Doravo.
Where encrypted backup functionality is provided, backups are protected using the security mechanisms implemented by Doravo.
However, no device, storage method, or electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, device access credentials, backup passwords, exported files, and any third-party accounts you choose to use.
Doravo is intended for business users.
If you enter information about customers, suppliers, employees, contractors, or other individuals into Doravo, you are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate legal basis and authority to process that information.
Depending on applicable privacy law, your business may act as the data controller or equivalent responsible party for information about those individuals.
The Developer does not become the owner of information about your customers merely because you enter that information into Doravo.
Depending on your country or region, applicable privacy law may provide rights relating to personal information, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or data portability.
Most business information in Doravo is stored locally under your control rather than in a Developer-operated database.
If the Developer does not possess a copy of locally stored information, we cannot access, retrieve, correct, or delete that information remotely on your behalf.
You can manage local information through Doravo and your device.
For privacy questions concerning information that the Developer actually possesses, you may contact us using the contact information below.
Doravo is a professional business-management application and is not directed to children.
We do not knowingly design Doravo for the collection of children's personal information.
Doravo does not operate a central cloud service for your locally stored business database.
If you choose to export, share, email, back up, or transmit information using a third-party service, that provider may process information in another country or region according to its own infrastructure, terms, and privacy practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Doravo's features, data practices, legal requirements, or third-party integrations change.
When material changes are made, the updated Privacy Policy will be published with a revised effective date.
You should review this Privacy Policy periodically.
