Doraemon: Nobita's Little Star Wars[2] (: (  ), Doraemon: Nobita no Ritoru Sut Wzu) is a 1985 Japanese animated epic space opera film. It is a feature-length Doraemon film which premiered in Japan on March 16, 1985. As the film's title suggests, it is a parody of George Lucas' original Star Wars trilogy, with a few elements from his 1983 film Return of the Jedi. The film is directed by Tsutomu Shibayama. The theme song of this film is performed by Tetsuya Takeda. It's the 6th Doraemon film. The remake of the film, Doraemon: Nobita's Little Star Wars 2021 has been released on 4 March 2022[3][4] after being postponed from its original 5 March 2021 release date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[5]

The film begins with a prologue of a battle on a faraway planet, where the president is evacuated on a rocket. The film shifts to the Earth, where Nobita is kicked out by Gian and Suneo after destroying the set of the space movie they are making. Nobita runs to Doraemon and the two recruit Shizuka to make their own film.

Meanwhile, a whale-shaped spaceship destroys Suneo's new set and Suneo and Gian confronts Nobita at his house, but Papi explains that it was a battleship sent by PCIA to find him. He reveals that he is the president of his planet Pirika, which has been taken over by the dictator Gilmore. PCIA is the dictator's intelligence agency, and they have been sent to capture Papi to ensure Gilmore's total victory.

At Pirika, Nobita and friends arrive at a secret base located in the planet's ring. Army chief Genbu explains that Papi is being held in PCIA's head office, facing a death sentence. Doraemon, Nobita and Gian head to the planet with Rokoroko, while Shizuka and Suneo remain to defend the base from the PCIA space force. Nobita and friends meet with a resistance group, but everyone gets captured by PCIA soldiers after being traced down by Gilmore's cameras. After heading to the planet's surface in their tanks, Shizuka and Suneo are shot down as well. While their tanks sink into the ocean, Shizuka suddenly starts returning to her normal size.

Papi's older sister who remained in office on Planet Pirika to spearhead the resistance against Gilmore. This character exists only in the 2021 remake. Canon Foreigner: She doesn't have a counterpart in the manga or anime. Cool Big Sis: The level-headed, responsible elder sister of Papi. Identical Stranger: She has a tuft of hair covering her forehead that makes her look a little like Shizuka. When Papi sees Shizuka for the first time in the remake, he mistakenly calls her Piina, to Shizuka's confusion. I Have Your Wife: The remake goes for the I Have Your Sister route when Gilmore decide to force Papi to turn himself in by threatening to have Piina executed. Parental Substitute: She's an elder sister who serves as a motherly figure to Papi, after their parents' passing. After the climax where Papi and the others are celebrating Gilmore's downfall, Piina can be seen looking into a locket containing their parents' photos and telling them to be proud of Papi. Take Me Instead: The remake opens with Piina sending Papi's shuttle into orbit, against his will, when Gilmore's forces broke into the office. She gets arrested in her brother's stead. Rokoroko

Papi, the tiny president of a faraway planet, escapes to Earth to avoid being captured by the military forces that took over. Despite being welcomed by Doraemon, Nobita and their friends, the little alien notices that his enemies have also reached this world and doesn't want to get his human friends involved in this war. Doraemon, Nobita, Gian, Suneo, and Shizuka start a big adventure as they try to hide and protect Papi.

Meanwhile, Nobita is making a space movie with Gian and Suneo. After Nobita accidentally destroys the set, both Suneo and Gian "fire" him. Nobita goes to Doraemon to help him create a space movie. Failed at asking Dekisugi for help (who has already been asked to join by Gian and Suneo), they instead rope in Shizuka for help, who prefers to make a movie about dolls, disappointing Nobita. Shizuka uses her favorite rabbit doll for the filming (turned into a robot by Doraemon's gadget), but it disappears after she and the others are distracted. After Nobita's mother rediscovers the doll, Doraemon, Nobita, and Shizuka find Papi inside it, who explains that he is the president of Pirika planet, which is currently being suppressed by a dictator named General Gilmore. Becoming a top target for Gilmore, Papi has been transported to Earth for safety by his security officer. He is offered shelter in Shizuka's doll house. Later, Gilmore's top officer, Dorakorule, lands on Earth following Papi, and leads an attack on Gian and Suneo's set (thinking the model weapons and tanks to be real). Learning that Dorakorule is spying to find the ones who have hidden Papi, Nobita and his friends hide themselves from the spies (taking form of fireflies) and create a hideout in Shizuka's house, which doubles as a factory for weapon-making. However, the hideout is subsequently raided, Shizuka is kidnapped, and the "Size-Changing Flashlight" (used to shrink Nobita and his friends) is taken, leaving the others stuck at their form. Papi offers himself to be taken in exchange for Shizuka's safety, which Dorakorule accepts. Papi's pet dog, Rokoroko arrives but is too late to save Papi. After explaining about himself, he, Nobita, and his friends go to Pirika to save Papi.

They arrive at Pirika's ring system and find the Freedom Party's hideout, where Papi and Rokoroko originated. They receive information about Papi's planned execution the next day and proceed to stage his rescue; Doraemon, Nobita, Gian, and Rokoroko travel to Pirika using a spaceship, while Shizuka and Suneo guard the ring system. Shizuka and Suneo manage to fend off the military army and proceed to help the others. They arrive at the planet, but are raided and are almost drowned in the sea until they mysteriously return to their normal size. Meanwhile, Doraemon, Nobita, Gian, and Rokoroko arrive with the secret Freedom Party's hideout in the planet, but are captured by General Gilmore's soldiers. They are sentenced to execution, but moments before being killed, they miraculously grow back to their normal size and meet up with Shizuka and Suneo, realizing that they had passed the flashlight's power limit. They proceed to battle the military army (which is no match to them due to their sheer size), and when Gilmore tries to escape, he is captured by Pirika's citizens. Saying goodbye to Papi, Nobita and his friends go back to Earth.

Suneo and Shizuka, who were tasked with protecting the Pirika army's secret base, destroyed a large fleet of spaceships belonging to the PCIA, which alerted the army of their true strength. As the two approached Pirika, their tanks were shot down by a submarine. However, the effect of their small light came to an end, which made them gigantic. Nobita, Gian and Doraemon's effects also came to an end, and they rendezvoused with Suneo and Shizuka. They quickly defeated the pawn-fleets of the PCIA and their attack ship as well. Gilmore decided to flee through their airport, but a massive crowd blocked his way. Gilmore punched the driver robot, making it malfunction, and crashing his vehicle. Wounded air-force soldiers stood up in protest, as Gilmore surrendered and was arrested.

After passing by the children's play area where a giant Cat Bus was, you reached the entrance of the tower with more spiralling stairs. This one wasn't so narrow and had enough space for people walking up and down at the same time.

No photos were allowed inside apart from certain designated areas so a little more lenient than Ghibli Museum. Still, most of the interesting stuff were in no photo areas so I'm afraid I'm just going to have to describe it all to you again.

I kind of felt the same when I went in for the short movie because the Anime was really, really for little kids. It was a cross over of all Fujiko-san's works where one character goes on a shopping errand and meets them all so nothing exciting. It was more like one of those picture books used for nurseries ^^;

This was the bronze Laputa robot sculpture that my friend bought. It was one of the exclusive expensive museum exclusives I mentioned. Very detailed like the statue on the roof, eh? I would have got one too if it wasn't so big... Limited space in my room ^^; 2351a5e196
