Pocket Utility is an offline-first utility application. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use its tools.
Summary
Pocket Utility is supported by advertising. The app does not operate a user account system, and tool inputs such as your files and text are processed locally on your device. Advertising services may process limited device and usage information to display, measure, and protect advertising as described below.
Information handled on your device
Depending on the tool you choose, Pocket Utility may access or process the following information locally:
•Text that you type, paste, or intentionally share to the app.
•Images and files that you select through the Android system picker or intentionally share to the app.
•Basic device information displayed by the Device Information tool, such as device model, Android version, supported ABIs, and available storage.
•Local app preferences, including Favorites, recently opened tools, and completed-output history.
The app uses this information only to provide the feature you requested. For example, an image selected for compression is read locally to create a local result, and a text value used for a QR code is processed locally to create that QR code.
Local storage and temporary files
Pocket Utility may create temporary local files while processing images, PDFs, or shareable outputs. These temporary files are stored in the app cache. You can remove supported temporary files from Settings > Clear cache.
Favorites, recent-tool entries, and completed-output history are stored in the app's private local storage. Completed-output history may contain a local output reference, a short activity summary, the tool name, and completion time. It is used only to display your history inside the app.
When you save an output, Android asks you to choose the destination. The saved file is then managed by the location or provider you selected.
Sharing
Pocket Utility can send text or a generated file to another app only after you choose a Share action. Once you share content, the receiving app's privacy practices apply to that content.
Advertising
Pocket Utility displays advertising provided by third-party advertising partners. These partners may collect or receive information such as IP address, device and advertising identifiers, approximate location inferred from IP address, app interaction data, and diagnostic information. They use this information to deliver ads, limit fraud, measure ad performance, and, where permitted, personalize advertising.
Pocket Utility does not provide your selected files, generated documents, typed text, or saved tool outputs to advertising partners for advertising purposes. Advertising partners process data under their own privacy policies and may use data across apps and websites as permitted by applicable law and your device settings.
You can manage or reset the Android advertising identifier and adjust ad personalization controls in your device settings. Availability and names of these controls vary by Android version and region. We will identify the advertising partners and link their privacy policies in the published version of this policy before release.
Information we do not collect
Pocket Utility does not:
•Transmit your tool inputs, files, text, device information, or app preferences to our servers.
•Sell your selected files, generated documents, or typed text.
•Require account registration or collect account credentials.
Permissions and user control
Pocket Utility uses Android's system file and media pickers for user-selected content. It does not request broad all-files storage access in the current release. You can decline or cancel a picker request; the related tool will not receive that content.
You control whether to save an output, overwrite an original image where Android permits it, or share content with another app.
Data retention and deletion
Temporary processing data can be removed through Settings > Clear cache. You can clear completed-output history from the History screen. You can also clear all app-private preferences and cache through Android system settings, or uninstall the app.
Files you explicitly saved outside the app's private storage are not deleted automatically. Delete those files from the location where you saved them.
Children
Pocket Utility is not directed to children. Advertising partners may have their own age-related controls and obligations. Where required, we will configure advertising services and obtain consent before serving personalized advertising.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app's data practices or advertising partners change. The updated policy will show a new effective date. We will update this policy and relevant store disclosures before releasing material changes.
