RabApps built the Don’t Tap game as a free mobile game. This Service is provided by RabApps at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform users regarding our policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of information if anyone decides to use our Service.
Don’t Tap does not require user registration and does not collect personal contact information such as email addresses, phone numbers, or real-world identities. However, to support core game features, anti-cheat mechanisms, promotional reward systems, and monetization, the app collects and uses limited data as described below.
Player Nickname, Difficulty Levels, and Game Scores
Users may choose a player nickname (display name).
Player nicknames, selected game difficulty (e.g., Normal, Hard), and game scores are uploaded to our servers (Google Firebase) and displayed publicly on the in-game leaderboard.
Nicknames are not required to be real names and are used only for gameplay identification and leaderboard display.
Device Identifier (Hashed ID) A unique device identifier is generated and used internally for the following purposes:
Leaderboard Integrity: To ensure that each entry on the public leaderboard is unique and legitimate.
Anti-cheat and Score Validation: To monitor and prevent automated scripts, hacks, or unauthorized score manipulation.
Reward Verification: This identifier is used to link a high score to a specific device for the generation of a Unique Claim Code.
This identifier is encrypted, not shown publicly, and is not used for tracking users across other apps or websites.
Promotional Rewards and Claim Codes
Don’t Tap may occasionally feature a reward system for top-ranking players.
Discretionary Basis: The issuance of rewards is not guaranteed and is provided at the sole discretion of RabApps. Rewards are part of periodic promotional events and are not a permanent feature of the service.
Claim Code Generation: When a promotional event is active, the app generates an 8-character unique Claim Code. This code, along with a timestamp and the hashed device ID, is stored in our database to verify the authenticity of a claim when the user contacts the developer.
App Performance and Diagnostics The app may collect crash reports and performance data (such as ANR logs) to help improve stability and fix technical issues.
Don’t Tap includes background music and sound effects used solely to enhance the gameplay experience.
All audio assets used in the app are obtained from royalty-free sources such as Pixabay and are licensed for free commercial use under the Pixabay Content License.
These audio assets do not collect, transmit, or process any user data.
The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These providers include:
Google Firebase (Firestore & Analytics): Used to store and retrieve leaderboard data, player nicknames, difficulty logs, and secure claim codes.
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used to display advertisements and measure ad performance.
These third-party services may collect:
Device identifiers (Ad ID).
Approximate location (country/region level).
Ad interaction and usage data.
For more information, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Some data may be shared with third parties strictly for the following purposes:
Displaying advertisements.
Providing analytics and diagnostics for app improvement.
Supporting the public leaderboard feature.
Note: Only player nicknames and scores are visible to other users. Internal identifiers, claim codes, and timestamps are private and accessible only to the developer for verification.
Leaderboard data is grouped by time periods (such as weekly cycles) and is automatically replaced or cleared over time. Since the app does not provide user accounts, there is no direct in-app method to request manual data deletion. Users who wish to have their nickname or score removed from the server may contact the developer directly at the email provided below.
Don’t Tap is suitable for a general audience. The app does not knowingly collect personal contact information from children, such as:
Real names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, or contact details.
Player names are limited to nicknames only and are used solely for gameplay and leaderboard display. If you believe that your child has provided personal information beyond this scope, please contact us immediately and we will take appropriate action to delete the information.
We value your trust and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting your data. All data transmission between the app and our Firebase servers is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS protocols. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Users are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
