M.S. Course
Research Part : Construction AI(LLM, NLP)
Hobby : Listening to Music, Traveling, Drawing
Hello!
My name is Minjung Kim, and I will begin my Master’s degree in 2025. I’m truly honored and excited to join HCT Lab, where I have the privilege of working alongside a team of young, passionate, and enthusiastic researchers. This opportunity marks the beginning of a new and meaningful chapter in my academic journey.
I have a deep love for music, traveling, and drawing. Music allows me to reflect and relax, traveling inspires me with new perspectives, and drawing gives me a creative outlet to express thoughts and emotions. These personal passions not only enrich my life but also fuel my curiosity and creativity as a researcher. I believe that nurturing these interests helps me approach problems with a more open and imaginative mindset.
Currently, I’m especially interested in exploring the brain structure of construction engineers. I’m fascinated by how cognitive processes shape decision-making and problem-solving in high-stakes, practical environments like the construction field. By combining elements of neuroscience, engineering, and cognitive science, I hope to uncover new insights that bridge the gap between human cognition and technical performance.
Above all, I view research as a shared journey — one that thrives on collaboration, communication, and a sense of wonder. I’m looking forward to growing together with my lab members, exchanging ideas, learning from one another, and supporting each other through every challenge and success. I believe these moments of connection and discovery are what truly make research joyful and fulfilling.
This journey with HCT Lab is not just about academic growth — it’s about building memories, friendships, and a sense of purpose. I am excited for the priceless experiences ahead and grateful to be part of this vibrant research community.
Thank you!
