지난 2024.11.28, University of Manchester의 Dr. Clara Cheung 교수님께서 본 연구실을 방문하셨습니다. 오전에는 현대건설의 건설자동화 기술에 대해 소개받고 관련 논의를 진행하였으며, 오후에는 연구실을 방문하여 본인의 연구 주제와 기존 연구 성과를 발표해 주셨습니다.

Dr. Cheung 교수님은 특히 코로나19 팬데믹 상황에서 건설 현장 관리를 위한 시뮬레이션 개발에 대해 심도 있게 설명하셨습니다. 세미나에서는 건설 산업에서의 웰빙(Well-being) 및   작업 환경 디지털화(Workplace Digitalization)의 중요성에 대해 다루며, 이를 통한 지속가능한 건설 환경 조성 방안을 제시하였습니다.

이번 세미나는 연구실 구성원들에게 새로운 관점과 아이디어를 제공한 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다. Dr. Cheung 교수님께 진심으로 감사드리며, 앞으로도 활발한 교류가 이어지길 기대합니다.

 On 2024.11.28, Dr. Clara Cheung from the University of Manchester visited our lab to share her expertise and insights. In the morning, Dr. Cheung was introduced to Hyundai Engineering & Construction’s automation technologies, followed by discussions on their applications. In the afternoon, she joined our lab to present her ongoing research and previous studies.

Dr. Cheung delved into the development of simulations for managing construction sites during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her seminar highlighted the significance of well-being and workplace digitalization in the construction industry, emphasizing sustainable practices for future-ready environments.

The seminar provided our lab members with valuable perspectives and innovative ideas. We sincerely thank Dr. Cheung for her visit and look forward to further collaboration and exchange in the future.
