We see the future from "devices" made of lights and materials.
Optics and photonics have never been conquered, not even close. Dreamers still want to make laser rifles, 3D hard holography, and optical computers. In recent years, the convergence of quantum science and nanotechnology has opened new avenues to access novel degrees of freedom in photons. In our laboratory, we want to seek out new bases of photonics, and experimentally demonstrate and utilize them in nanophotonic devices to challenge numerous unsolved problems about light.

We are hiring postdocs, graduate/undergraduate students!
We are looking for enthusiastic young scientists interested in applied experimental physics, particularly in quantum photonics and nanoscience. The main program will be the demonstration of ultrafast structurization of optical pulses with quantum materials and quantum-enhanced magneto-optical metrology based on nanophotonic platforms. Feel free to ask any question on our lab by contacting Dongha.
