I am a CMC Fellow (Hyo Chul Myung Assistant Professor) at the June E Huh Center for Mathematical Challenges, Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS). Before joining KIAS, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Complex Geometry, Institute for Basic Science (IBS). I received my Ph.D. from Seoul National University under the supervision of Young-Hoon Kiem.
Research interests
Algebraic geometry and related areas of representation theory and combinatorics:
Moduli of curves and surfaces and their birational geometry, with a focus on cohomology
Positivity and log-concavity phenomena in representations on the cohomology of algebraic varieties
Schubert, Hessenberg, Lusztig, Deligne-Lusztig varieties, and related aspects of combinatorics, geometric representation theory, and Hodge theory
