Moin and welcome to my website! I am a doctoral student at the Institute for Food and Resource Economics and a research associate at the Center for Economics and Neuroscience, both at the University of Bonn, Germany.

My research focuses on determinants of and barriers to the sustainable governance of common-pool resources, such as forests. In this context, I pay particular attention to the role of norms and exogenous shocks. In addition, I also investigate social norms and rule compliance in abstract settings, as well as pro-environmental attitudes and behavior more broadly. To study these topics, I primarily employ lab and lab-in-the-field experiments.

Apart from conducting research, I am planting trees across the globe as vice president of the NGO Let's Plant and transform public green spaces into nature-friendly wildflower meadows as board member of the NGO Die Stadt blüht auf ("the city is coming into bloom").
