Domain Memory Logger is a Chrome extension designed to help users remember website domains they have visited before.
Data Collection
Domain Memory Logger only stores website domain names locally on the user’s device.
For example, the extension may store domain names such as:
example.com
github.com
developer.chrome.com
Domain Memory Logger does not store:
Full URLs
URL paths
Query parameters
Page titles
Page content
Search queries
Form inputs
Account information
Passwords
Personal text entered on websites
How the Extension Uses Data
The extension uses visited website information only to extract the domain name from each visited page. After extracting the domain name, the extension stores only the domain record locally.
Stored records may include:
Domain name
First visit time
Most recent visit time
Visit count
This data is used only to allow the user to search, view, and export previously visited domains.
Data Storage
All data is stored locally in Chrome extension storage on the user’s own device.
Domain Memory Logger does not upload, transmit, sell, share, or transfer user data to any server or third party.
Data Sharing
Domain Memory Logger does not share user data with third parties.
Remote Code
Domain Memory Logger does not use remote code.
Analytics and Advertising
Domain Memory Logger does not use analytics tools, advertising networks, tracking pixels, or third-party tracking services.
Permissions
The extension uses the history permission to detect visited pages and extract the website domain name.
The extension uses the storage permission to save the domain list locally on the user’s device.
User Control
Users can view their stored domain list from the extension popup.
Users can export their stored domain records as a CSV file.
Users can remove the extension from Chrome at any time. Removing the extension may delete the locally stored extension data.
