The winter school is designed for Ph.D. students as well as early career researchers in the areas of probability, stochastic analysis, machine learning, mathematical finance. However, any researcher in these areas is encouraged to partecipate. Registration can be done here.
The winter school consists of two mini-courses held by Noufel Frikha and Eva Löcherbach of Université Paris 1 - Panthéon Sorbonne, and also talks (or posters) given by the participants. Submission of title and abstract of a talk or poster can be done here.
Participation is free but, for organizational purposes, registration is mandatory.
The main accomodation site for the winter school is Hotel Folgarida. We have negotiated special rates with Hotel Folgarida for double, triple, quadruple, and other room types. These rates include breakfast and dinner and are for the period from Sunday, January 11th to Saturday, January 17th. We therefore invite all interested participants to contact Hotel Folgarida directly by September 15th to book a room, specifying that they intend to participate in the winter school (e-mail: info@hotelfolgarida.it).
The winter school will take place in the town of Folgarida, in the heart of the Dolomites, a world-renowned alpine destination and a World Heritage site since 2009, thanks to their beauty and unique landscapes.
The 2nd Dolomites Winter School is financed by the PRIN 2022 Project:
