I have the dolby app installed and when connected through hdmi my options are 7.1 and atmos for home theater(assumed to be software). The apps that trigger atmos sound good whether its using software based atmos i'm not sure. the atmos works correctly in the windows store app and sounds good. I don't have any of the encoding checked for bypass in the theater app. is there any other options I would need?
sorry to revive a dead thread but I cannot see these settings in my Emby Server/Player on my TV. Can you help me with this? I have a LG c8 which can be connected either directly to my TV via HDMI or through the LG Emby App, but playing TrueHD bluray's through emby doesnt indicate on my Samsung N950 Soundbar connected to the TV via HDMI Arc that it is streaming dolby atmos.
