20. Doktorand:innentreffen der Stochastik 2025

The 20. Doktorand:innentreffen der Stochastik will take place from  August  27th to August 29th, 2025 (Wednesday to Friday), at the University of Mannheim. This meeting serves as a platform for doctoral students to present their research  and findings, offering insights into a wide range of topics within their field and promoting the exchange of ideas.

Organized by and for doctoral students specializing in probability theory, statistics, mathematical finance and actuarial science this annual event will be hosted in Mannheim for the first time this year. The organisers Martin Bergerhausen, Mihriban Ceylan and Valeriia Zhidkova look forward to meeting you at the University of Mannheim!

The conference is free of charge and we will provide accomodation and breakfast at DJH Jugendherberge Mannheim International for the first 60 registrants. Travel to the conference must be organised and paid privately. During the conference, participants will have the opportunity to give a 20-minute presentation on their research. There will also be social events and networking opportunities hosted by  the organisers.

The conference will be held at the University of Mannheim. Mannheim is easily accessible by train, located just 30 minutes from Frankfurt by ICE. For more details, visit bahn.de.  Additionally, Mannheim is served by a Flixbus stop, providing further travel options.
