• How has DDLC impacted my work as an artist? DDLC was the gateway to drawing for me, and it's been there throughout the entirety of my career. I was always inspired by the art style, especially in the CGs, and so I always tried imitating the close up shots with characters. Once I played the game, I immediately fell in love with the characters, and soon enough most of my drawings became fan art of the franchise. Imagining the characters in both unique and day-to-day scenarios kept pushing me to get better in order to visualize those situations.

• About my submission and the choices I made: I tried replicating Satchely's style when it came to Sayori's eyes, especially off of the CG where the MC tries to fix her jacket. Other than that, I wanted to replicate something close to Yuri's third CG, where the MC's hand is outstretched to give off a deeper perspective. Most everything else style-related comes from my own experience.
