My name is Haley Ann Doehrmann. I graduated from a small school in northwest Ohio called Stryker Local. I am currently attending The University of Toledo studying Early Childhood Education. I am an educator because I aspire to not only teach, but to mold young children into the people they hope to become. This applies to all areas as I incorporate my love for teaching with the equine industry as well. Over the summer, I instruct students one-on-one with an equine partner that allows them to build trusting relationships, large and fine motor skills, and even encounter a mental and physical therapeutic experience. I do not hope to stop teaching there, but also on the basketball court. I was a four-year All-League, first-team honoree, two-time All-Ohio, 2018 Division IV Northwest Ohio District Seven Player of The Year athlete. Basketball will always be a part of my life and I hope to bring the same passion to another group of girls someday. Knowledge is the key to allowing children to become the best versions of themselves and I believe each child is called to change the world.
"Knowledge is power. Knowledge shared is power multiplied."
