DocuSign CLM tracks each time the contract is changed and creates a new version, regardless if it was downloaded, revised, or signed. The system is able to auto compare any two versions of the document and produce a third visibly revised version that shows the add, change, and delete actions taken between the two versions.

If the revision is on first-party paper, DocuSign CLM can track individual components in the document, and update the agreement's metadata based on changes during the revision process.
