Docraft ("the app", "we", "our") is a file conversion and productivity tools app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses and how it is used.

1. INFORMATION WE ACCESS

Camera

The app uses your device's camera to scan QR codes and scan physical documents. Camera images are processed on your device and are not uploaded to any server we operate.

Photos and Files

The app accesses photos and files you choose to select (for conversion, compression, background removal, etc.) and files it generates (converted PDFs, compressed images, signed documents). These files are stored locally on your device, in the app's own storage area. We do not access any files beyond what you explicitly select or what the app itself creates.

Google Account (Sign-In)

For the Word to PDF, Excel to PDF, and PDF to Word conversion tools, the app uses Google Sign-In and requests access to Google Drive using the "drive.file" scope. This scope only allows the app to access files it creates itself in your Google Drive — it cannot see, read, or modify any other files in your Drive. Files are uploaded temporarily to perform the conversion (via Google Docs) and are deleted immediately after the converted file is downloaded. We do not store your Google account information, email content, or Drive files on any server we operate. All other tools in the app work without requiring you to sign in.

2. HOW INFORMATION IS USED

- Camera and file access is used solely to perform the function you requested (scanning, converting, compressing, signing, etc.).

- Google Drive access is used solely to perform Word/Excel/PDF conversions via Google Docs, as described above.

- We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data, files, or photos with third parties.

- We do not use your data for advertising or analytics profiling.

3. DATA STORAGE

All files you create using the app (converted documents, compressed images, signed documents, QR codes, etc.) are stored locally on your device. You can view and delete these files at any time from the app's "Files" tab or the "Free up storage" option in the Profile tab. We do not have access to these files on any server, because they are never uploaded to us — only to Google's servers temporarily for the specific conversions described above.

4. PERMISSIONS USED

- Camera: for QR/document scanning

- Storage: to read files you select and save files the app creates

- Internet: required only for Word/Excel/PDF conversions (via Google) and Google Sign-In

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The app uses the following third-party services for specific features:

- Google Sign-In and Google Drive API (drive.file scope) — for Word/Excel/PDF conversion features only

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Docraft is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this same URL.
