Account Information
When you create an account or sign in using Google, information such as your name, email address, profile information, and authentication identifiers may be processed through Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In.
Camera
DocLoom AI may access your device camera when you use features such as document scanning or QR/barcode scanning. Camera access is used only when required for these features.
Images, PDFs and Documents
When you select an image, PDF, or document, DocLoom AI may access that file to perform the action you request, including scanning, OCR, PDF conversion, merging, splitting, compression, editing, watermarking, security features, or AI document processing.
OCR Data
Text extracted from documents and images may be processed to provide OCR and related document features, including Hindi and English text recognition.
AI Feature Data
When you use AI-powered features, document text or other content necessary to perform the requested operation may be transmitted to an AI service for processing.
AI-powered features may include PDF summarization, Chat PDF, translation, rewriting, document classification, key-point extraction, quiz generation, signature removal, and other AI document functions.
Users should avoid submitting confidential or highly sensitive information to AI features unless they are comfortable with that information being processed by the applicable service provider.
2. Advertising
DocLoom AI may display advertisements to non-premium users using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob).
Advertising services may process certain device information, advertising identifiers, app interactions, diagnostics, and related information in accordance with their own privacy practices.
Premium or ad-free access may remove advertisements where offered by the app.
3. Firebase and Google Services
DocLoom AI may use Google and Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In, to provide account authentication and related app functionality.
These services may process information necessary to provide authentication, security, and related functionality.

Information may be processed as necessary to provide the features requested by users, including:

5. Local Document Processing

Files processed entirely on your device are not uploaded by us merely because the app accesses them.

6. App Permissions
Depending on the features you use, DocLoom AI may request access to:
