Influencer Marketing - Hearthstone Streamers

The Pay2Play team is developing a Crypto-Enabled Entertainment Suite. Meant to introduce blockchain technology into the gaming experience. We started working with them to enhance their outreach and educate their audience on blockchain technology with engaging content.

After the initial research and strategy where in place we moved on to influencer marketing. One of the best ways to enhance conversion with gaming audiences is influencer marketing and we wanted to leverage this for Pay2Play. To call the attention of streamers they decided to host a Hearthstone tournament.

It was our job to get influential streamers to sign up for the tournament. This can be challenging for a new brand so besides posting on social media about the tournament we decided to do a direct outreach campaign.

Supported with a flyer customized for mobile distribution we started approaching popular Hearthstone streamers directly.

Opening with an icebreaker about their stream, we sent them the flyer and a quick introduction. Then we directed them to the different campaign goals.

The direct outreach showed positive results. After a week streamers started joining Pay2Play Discord server and email lists. Once the sever started growing and word about Pay2Play spread through the community, streamers started joining organically using the public links.
