As part of my teaching practice, I have made a commitment to support talented young musicians who may not have the financial means to pursue private lessons. Each semester, I accept up to two students from underprivileged backgrounds into my studio, offering them either free or significantly reduced-cost lessons.
This initiative is driven by my belief that every student, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the chance to grow and explore their passion for music. For these students, the opportunity to receive quality instruction can make a lasting impact on both their musical journey and their personal growth.
Interested students can apply by submitting a brief application form. A short essay explaining their passion for music and why they would benefit from these lessons, written by the student, is also required This process helps me understand their story and ensures the program reaches those who need it most. This form can be found here.
If you are interested in supporting this effort, you can find information below on how to donate to the fund that helps make these opportunities possible. Every contribution goes directly to helping cover the cost of lessons and materials for these students.
Thank you for considering joining me in making a difference in the lives of these aspiring young musicians. Together, we can ensure that music education remains accessible to all who seek it.
